I (@kianenigma) write the original polkadot-portfolio as a CLI app earlier this year. The objective was simple: read-only, in detail portfolio app for the entire Polkadot ecosystem, relying only on onchain data (and soon light clients).
A few months ago, I asked an old friend/former-colleague of mine Hosein (13HCnHKxS26NreRYiH5LCeyTQzQvXDCcS9hC5G6nhnSj1KFS - https://github.com/HoseinEmrani) to write a UI for it. This is still ongoing, but we've reached a point where there is a MVP that can be used. I am opening this tip to express my support for Hosein's work and plan to continue opening tips every now and then once we reach a major milestone.
The project as a while is more of PoC and I don't see it being used in an enterprise manner, because of its onchain-data-only nature. Nonetheless, if parachain teams help us with implementing custom logic related to their chain, it can someday become a good minimal alternative to other Portfolio apps out there (e.g. sub.id and talisman).
