Reason for tip proposal:
The user's two Stash accounts were reaped with a Validator key still present but uncleared. Upon learning that his accounts would have to be re-funded in order to execute the purgeKey() extrinsic and unbonded over the course of 28 days, the user has become disheartened by the nature of the DOT ecosystem.
The user's intent was to become a Validator, but due to a misunderstanding about the amount required to do so on KSM and DOT coupled with his latest poor experience, he has decided not to pursue the recovery of his DOT.
His initial time investment is quite high - he set up cloud instances for validators on both KSM and DOT, initially bonded and un-bonded over 28 days, and being told to repeat this process and wait another 28 days was simply a bridge too far. He has also found clearing extrinsics to be unintuitive and our Wiki resources lacking in this respect.
While it’s unlikely that the user will be able to become a validator at present given the capital requirements,
