A Polkadot India Proposal: 3 Polkadot Webinars + 6 Substrate Bootcamps = 12000+ 🦾 India community

Greetings from Polkadot India - A pan India community of Substrate developers, entrepreneurs and Polkadot enthusiasts.

Substrate is a promising technology. While building on it, we felt the need for a local community that could support us. Since it didn’t exist, we decided to start building it. Our team comes from a history of community building. Members of our team have built some of India’s largest Startup and Developer communities. We have the necessary reach and influence to build a 10,000 member Substrate developer community fairly quickly.

This development firepower could not only trigger a wave of blockchain innovation in the Indian subcontinent but also serve the needs of Substrate based projects around the world. We aim to sensitize the Indian crypto community about Polkadot and Indian developers about Substrate.

After a community launch in September, in over 7 months we have built a 9000+ community including investors, developers, students, web3 entrepreneurs as well as crypto & blockchain enthusiasts. Our monthly event properties - Dot Friday(Guest Webinars) and Substrate Saturday(Bootcamps for Developers) have seen growing traction and to keep growing the Polkadot community in India, we see absolute success in continuing these properties with higher impact!

Now, with an aim of impacting 5000+ more crypto enthusiasts and 1000+ new developers over 3 months, here's a proposal for our next set of 3 DotFriday Webinars and 6 Substrate Bootcamps, paving way for the bigger plans ahead toward building an Indian blockchain & web3 community. We hence seek the Polkadot Treasury Grant to make this promising & possible mission come to life.
