# Short Description

The scope of PoKe is business development that targets enterprises and governments to leverage Polkadot’s technology and to hand over projects to the Polkadot community. For that the W3F funded PoKe through the Decentralized Futures Programme for one year from May 2024 onwards. 

PoKe has achieved all its milestones to date! To ensure the maximum impact for the Polkadot ecosystem we believe that an additional six month period of key accounting and project management is necessary. # Achievements

Our efforts have proven highly successful, revealing significant potential for Polkadot’s adoption across enterprise and government sectors. We have secured signed agreements and built a strong project pipeline in more than 10 industry verticals, including government, healthcare, energy, and defense. Promising opportunities in various stages have emerged from these verticals. Some projects have already secured an MoU or a collaboration agreement, others will be secured within the scope of PoKe.

The following projects are the most promising ones from our point of view, and they would require additional management attention to get them to a state where the implementation project can be kicked-off. Some projects will also require management of the Polkadot ecosystem consortium and local entities during the implementation phase resulting in a hand over to the local organizations.

* **Collaboration with Chinese Technology Conglomerate**
 A MoU has been signed with a multinational technology conglomerate with a dominant presence in China and beyond. An affiliate of the conglomerate wants to move forward to integrate their solutions with Polkadot in different areas of collaboration.
* **Diaspora-financed health insurance for an African country**.
 A Signed Collaboration Agreement between a local company on the ground and Scytale for facilitating a pilot project is in place. The project is progressing smoothly, with the MOU signed by the Ministry of Innovation, a local university, a local company and the W3F. The PoKe team currently works on the LOI. This project has the potential to be rolled out throughout the African Union.
* **Mandatory travel insurance for an African country**.
 The concept was presented and discussed on site with high-ranking government representatives and insurance executives. The concept was accepted by everyone, especially the insurance companies who showed high interest in the project because it opens up another revenue stream for them.
* **German Defense Industry Project: Resilient Identification System**.
 We had two high level workshops with the company in December and March. The discussion centered around how they could leverage Polkadot and blockchain technology. Three areas of collaboration are planned, such as building a prototype in the area of maritime communication, participating in  a project funded through the EU military research fund and they are interested in participating in the PBA. The former PoKe team has established a trusted relationship with the decision makers and  we believe a lot of key accounting will be necessary to be successful.
* **Projects in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA.** PoKe is discussing three projects in different stages in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA. The first project involves establishing a decentralized energy production system managed by local communities, coupled with a decentralized blockchain-based energy exchange. The second project focuses on creating a blockchain-based land registry, while the third aims to transform the Caribbean territory into a central hub for air cargo. These projects have the potential to open the door for the Polkadot ecosystem for future and more projects within the US, which has always been a challenge in the past.
* **Central American Ministry for the Environment**
 The Ministry is positioning itself as a key driver of blockchain initiatives in the country. In collaboration with them, we have identified promising use cases, which are now being further defined and planned. While these serve as initial pilot projects, the government is also actively exploring additional blockchain solutions within the Polkadot ecosystem. The pilot projects still require management and support by PoKe to bring them to a state where they can be implemented. We believe that some key accounting will increase the probability for Polkadot to become the center of the country's blockchain strategy.
* **Blockchain Use Cases in Supply Chain and CO2 Network**
 A global service provider with a focus on digital transformation and automation is exploring the use of Polkadot nodes.They are seeking a compelling use case, potentially for one of their customers, to justify a Polkadot project. For example, they are in discussions with a leading gas monopolist developing the first CO2 network in Germany. The goal is to use blockchain technology to track and document CO2 transferred into the pipelines, as well as the consumers who store, transfer, or transport the CO2. 
* **Photovoltaic Remote Control Project for German Municipalities**
 Project for the municipalities of a major German city to remotely control photovoltaic systems for stabilizing the power grid by managing electricity oversupply from small to medium-sized PV systems. This project has the advantage that it can be used as a blueprint for further projects in the German energy market.

# &#x9;Deliverables

The initial goal of PoKe was to identify verticals, establish connections with decision-makers, identify problems, and develop solutions using Polkadot, and then move these solutions to the MoU stage. The objective now is to make these projects operational to benefit Polkadot and its ecosystem.

Due to time constraints, the remaining PoKe time is not enough and may result in missed opportunities for the Polkadot ecosystem. During the 6 months we will focus on:

* Finalizing concepts, requirements, technical approaches, and solutions.
* Developing high-level roadmaps, project plans, and timelines.
* Finding and involving Polkadot ecosystem partners to build consortia.
* Developing sustainable business and funding models for new companies and projects.
* Offering project management support for complex projects, even after handover.
* Generating follow-up projects for the Polkadot ecosystem.
* Ensuring publicity and press releases for projects with MoUs and agreements.
* Presenting successful MoU completions and key learnings at conferences.

**Motivation**

A) Archives

Archives are an important piece of Polkadot and Kusama data infrastructure provided by SQD (formerly Subsquid). They provide access to on-chain data for public chains in the Polkadot ecosystem. They are being used as a data source for [Squids](https://www.sqd.ai/cloud) and for efficient data exploration and ad-hoc queries. The Archives, as performant data sources of historical on-chain data, are critical to the operation of backend APIs run by major projects in the Polkadot ecosystem.

Popular Polkadot dApps and projects that depend on SQD include the following:

Since the beginning of 2024, SQD has transitioned to a paid model for supporting parachains. However, public chains continue to be available for free use. Throughout the Q3 of 2024, we provided a free public data indexing service for Substrate blockchains, allowing interested parties to access indexed data on Substrate Events, Extrinsics, Storage Items, and EVM logs. During Q3 2024, we addressed real-world use cases that were highly requested by the community:

**Achievements**

Increase in Archival Data Demand and Infrastructure Scaling

During Q3’24, archival data demand increased approximately 3.6 times, from 3,265 GiB in Q2 to 11,713 GiB in Q3. We addressed the increasing demand for archival data by enhancing our infrastructure's throughput and redundancy through deploying archives to OVHCloud in addition to GCE, while also empowering our maintenance and engineering teams to support the expanded infrastructure effectively.

Decentralization of the SQD Network Enhancing the Polkadot Ecosystem:

In Q3’24, we continued to empower the SQD Network, driving forward our mission to strengthen the Polkadot ecosystem’s decentralization and resilience. By the end of the quarter, the SQD network had grown to include 1139 active Worker Nodes, securely storing 574TB of data and serving approximately 11TB of data per day. This expanding decentralized infrastructure enhances data processing and storage capabilities, delivering increased security, fault tolerance, and scalability for the Polkadot network.

SQD (fka Subsquid) - Public Data Indexing Infrastructure for Polkadot and Kusama (Q3 2024)

- The Spammening was a special event involving Amforc and Parity Technologies to test how well the Polkadot network can handle many transactions.
- This event included different phases and a big public test that showed strong performance of the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Before the main test, Amforc did other smaller tests on the Polkadot and Kusama networks.
- Amforc worked hard without getting paid during this project and is now asking for 45,000 USDT as a reward for their efforts.
- They helped design the structure of the event, prepared proposals, and coordinated with others to run the tests.
- Some problems were found during the tests, including issues with the network's ability to handle many transactions at the same time.
- The project showed the importance of rewarding those who help improve the Polkadot ecosystem.

The Spammening Reward for Amforc

Integritee has launched its privacy sidechain technology on Polkadot Asset Hub, allowing private transfers for DOT, USDCe, USDTe, ETH, and WBTC. They have submitted a proposal covering efforts from July 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, requesting 171,498 CHF (approximately 201,140 USD or USDT). This funding is considered a soft-loan, which Integritee plans to repay to the treasury with 30% of their gross fee revenue until the loan and a 10% premium are repaid. The proposal has references to previous approvals and initial discussions. Integritee's CTO, brenzi, has presented their work at various events and provided resources for understanding the importance of privacy and how Integritee can contribute to it.

We consider this a soft-loan which we will pay back to the treasury with a fraction of fee revenues which each shard of Incognitee earns as long as the target token is present on the Polkadot Asset Hub and can be spent by the treasury. The Talisman Mobile App Proposal is a new request to claim funds for a project that was previously approved under Referendum 1390 but missed the deadline to claim the payout. The team behind the proposal has already started working on the project and is excited to bring the Talisman mobile experience to life. They have provided proof that the preimage was pulled and confirmed the payment address is a Talisman-controlled multisig, the same as in the original proposal. Voting for this proposal will help rectify the payout issue and allow the team to continue their work.

**TL;DR**

The payout for [Ref. 1390](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/1390) (Talisman Mobile App Proposal) expired before we could claim. This ref intends to rectify the payout that was originally approved under Ref. 1390.

MinIO is a high-performance, S3-compatible object storage that can be used on public clouds, Kubernetes, private clouds, and the edge. Acurast, a decentralized verifiable compute network powered by phones, is partnering with MinIO to provide decentralized storage for Polkadot-native projects and enterprises. The main goal of this partnership is to create an MVP integration of MinIO in Acurast's decentralized compute environment, allowing developers to access MinIO through Acurast's native P2P layer. This will include creating storage buckets, configurable access control, benchmarking replications and costs, and providing detailed developer documentation and examples. Acurast's network uses billions of smartphones to run secure applications on decentralized infrastructure without compromising speed or privacy.

In 2025, Polkadot is focusing on launching a new EVM-compatible smart contract platform called Polkadot Hub and evolving Polkadot Cloud. OpenZeppelin, which completed four OpenGov proposals in 2024, is working with Parity to support the launch of Polkadot Hub and continue supporting Polkadot Cloud. OpenZeppelin has experience in developer enablement, especially targeting native Solidity developers and DeFi protocols for Polkadot Hub. They have a strong presence in the ecosystem, with $20 trillion USD of value transferred across their contracts, a 19% market share of all transactions on all chains, and 100% penetration across top 50 DeFi protocols. OpenZeppelin is also involved in cross-ecosystem initiatives like interop, privacy/ZK, and standards creation. They are working with Parity following the completion of the last treasury proposal, marking the beginning of their official working relationship.

Polkadot’s strategy in 2025 is driven by the release of a new EVM-compatible smart contract platform in Polkadot Hub as well as the continued evolution of Polkadot Cloud. As a follow on to the four OpenGov proposals OpenZeppelin completed in 2024 ([1](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/105), [2](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/442), [3](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/892), [4](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1290)), OpenZeppelin has been collaborating Parity to support the launch of Polkadot Hub in 2025 with developer enablement (Solidity contract libraries and tooling) and to continue to support Polkadot Cloud with iterative updates.

OpenZeppelin brings a wealth of experience in developer enablement to the ecosystem, especially as Polkadot moves to target native Solidity developers and widely-used DeFi protocols for Polkadot Hub launch. Not only has OpenZeppelin has been the “point of entry” for many developers who are first learning smart contracts, who study OpenZeppelin’s contract libraries, such as the ERC20, ERC721, upgradeable, and so on, but OpenZeppelin contracts are the standard contracts that almost all protocols build upon:

[Big Tipper] Polkadot Next.js Starter Frontend Template

Subscan has proposed a funding request of $249,250 USD to enhance both the open-source Subscan Essentials and its commercial platform by integrating PolkaVM (PVM) data indexing, parsing, smart contract interactions, and UI visualization. The initiative aims to provide an open-source Substrate + PVM explorer, an open-source PVM contract verification tool, enhanced PVM support in the commercial version of Subscan Explorer, and comprehensive user documentation. This will accelerate PVM adoption and provide the Polkadot community with a robust, user-friendly, and one-stop dashboard for on-chain exploration. The development timeline is estimated to be 18 weeks, divided into two major phases. The total estimated cost for the project is $249,250 USDT.

Subscan-PVM Integration: Building a Unified Explorer for the Polkadot Ecosystem

- Otar and Raul from JUST Ventures GmbH are asking for more money from the Polkadot Treasury for their work planned from April to December 2024.
- They have already received money for their previous work from December 2022 to March 2024.
- Their tasks include helping with updates, community projects, and providing technical support.
- They want to get paid in Stablecoins to make things easier and safer.

We, Otar and Raul of JUST Ventures GmbH, are submitting a second retroactive funding proposal to the Polkadot Treasury, following the approval of our first request covering 01.12.2022 &ndash; 31.03.2024. This new proposal seeks funding for our contributions from 01.04.2024 &ndash; 31.12.2024.
Over this period, our work has included supporting and executing runtime upgrades, facilitating OpenGov implementation, guiding treasury proposals, providing technical assistance, managing governance discussions, supervising bounties, and engaging in key ecosystem initiatives. We have also been involved in projects like the Polkadot Ecosystem Map and the Polkadot Community Foundation advisory process among others.
The requested funding will allow us to compensate for the work done and continue our work within the Polkadot ecosystem, focusing on governance, technical support, and community initiatives. By maintaining a retroactive funding model, we ensure that contributions are compensated based on actual work completed rather than estimated upfront. To further simplify financial planning, minimise volatility, and align with community standards, this time around, we are requesting compensation in Stablecoins.

JUST 2.0 Retroactive Compensation for Contributions to the Polkadot Ecosystem

Polkassembly is a platform for Polkadot and Kusama's governance. They have a proposal to get money from Polkadot Treasury to improve the platform in 2025. The proposal wants to make the platform better by improving things like user experience, stability, and important features. They want to make it easier to use, add support for more wallets, and make the website look better.

Some of the things they want to improve are:
1. Making it easier to set up an identity on the platform.
2. Making the website load faster and adding AI summaries for comments.
3. Improving how proposals are created and supported.
4. Adding support for more wallets.
5. Improving how the website looks and how easy it is to use.

They also want to make some technical improvements, like updating the software they use and making the platform more secure.

Polkassembly Social Contract 2025

Polkadot-API is a set of libraries that helps make decentralized applications. They want to make it easier for developers to create these apps. They have added new features and libraries to make it better. They are asking for money from the Polkadot Community Foundation to keep working on it from February 2025 to December 2025. They have a plan for how they will use the money and have shared it in a Google Doc. If they get the money, they will sign a contract, do some checks, and then get paid. They have set aside some money for the Polkadot Community Foundation's costs, and they will give back any extra money to the Polkadot Treasury. As many of you may already know, [Polkadot-API](https://github.com/polkadot-api/polkadot-api) was envisioned to provide a robust and flexible suite of libraries that prioritize composability, modularity, and a light-client-first approach. Our goal remains to equip dApp developers with powerful tools that simplify the creation of truly decentralized applications while continuously refining the developer experience.

Over the past development cycles, we have introduced new features and enhancements to Polkadot-API, along with additional libraries that complement and expand its capabilities. We've also released a series of tech demos that are valuable in their own right, while also showcasing the potential of these libraries. A detailed breakdown of our recent progress can be found in our [latest update on the Polkadot forum](https://forum.polkadot.network/t/polkadot-api-2025-q1-update/11906).

We are seeking funding for ongoing development and maintenance through the [Polkadot Community Foundation](https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/polkadot-community-foundation), for the months from February 2025 to December 2025. As outlined in their documentation, the beneficiary is their address in AssetHub.

Once the referendum is approved, the PCF and Polkadot-API team will go through the following process:

-   Create and sign a contractual agreement.
-   Complete the KYC/KYB process.
-   The Polkadot-API team will invoice the PCF for the 2025 development of Polkadot-API.
-   The PCF will transfer the proposal amount in USDC to our address in AssetHub (12R1XCdgkHysv8Y4ntiXguo4eUYHXjQTmfRjL8FbmezsG71j) in a single transfer at the beginning.

We have allocated a buffer of $7,000 for PCF legal and operational costs. After the process is complete, the PCF will refund the remaining amount back to the Polkadot Treasury.

Polkadot-API 2025 Development Funding through Polkadot Community Foundation

- A new proposal is being made to improve how users can move assets from Ethereum to Polkadot using Snowbridge.
- Many users are frustrated because they can't use their assets once they bridge them, mainly due to not enough liquidity (availability of money) in the system.
- The proposal asks for about $2,000 in DOT tokens to help create a better system for users to pay fees.
- This money will be used to increase the available liquidity for users, making it easier for them to swap assets.
- The goal is to have users enjoy a better experience and help them use their assets throughout the Polkadot ecosystem.
- The funds will be managed by two trusted people to ensure everything is done correctly.
- Overall, this will help more people use Polkadot and make it a better place for everyone.

Provision of Snowbridge ETH Liquidity to Facilitate Fee Swaps

Peer3 is creating an open-source Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows users to execute smart contracts directly with each other, bypassing the need for blockchain interaction. This project aims to improve the user experience of Polkadot by providing a real-time execution environment without transaction fees. The SDK enables real-time interactions, seamless interactions, and security from distributed ledgers. Peer3 has successfully delivered all milestones for a Level 3 Grant from the Web3 Foundation and is now seeking treasury funding for a production version of the SDK. The proposal includes a delayed payment of 350k USDT upfront and a delayed payment of 250k USDT and 30k DOT after 6 months. The funds will be used to hire more talent and cover operational costs. The project has potential use cases in gaming, payments, consumer applications, supply chain management, data marketplaces, social apps, and decentralized finance.

Executive Summary**

Recently we’ve delivered all milestones for our lvl 3 (highest level) grant from the Web3 Foundation - [announcement](https://x.com/Web3foundation/status/1868965504284869007). The grant was to build a minimal feature set (MFS) of our peer-to-peer state channels SDK that enables smart contracts to run directly between the end users devices while inheriting security from a distributed ledger. The goal is to improve the user experience of Polkadot by providing a real-time execution environment without any transaction fees.

**Introduction:**

Peer3 is developing a **public good, open-source Software Development Kit (SDK)** that enables users to execute smart contracts directly with one another, bypassing the need to route each & every interaction through the blockchain. This approach removes bottlenecks and reduces costs for many applications that would otherwise struggle to overcome them and paves the way for entirely new blockchain use cases by:

-   Eliminating unnecessary transaction fees.
-   Enabling real-time, seamless interactions.
-   Inheriting security from distributed ledgers.

The Web3 Foundation recently congratulated us on successfully delivering all milestones for a Level 3 Grant that we secured with them last year - [X announcement](https://x.com/Web3foundation/status/1868965504284869007).

Building on this success, we aim to deliver a comprehensive production-ready SDK that will be openly available to and hugely benefit the Polkadot ecosystem, empowering developers to unlock new, exciting and commercially viable use cases.

**Problem Statement**

Web3 ecosystems face a critical gap in scalability and user experience when measured against Web2 offerings. While decentralized systems provide security and transparency, they often:

-   Fail to deliver the real-time interactions that users expect from Web2 platforms.
-   Rely heavily on on-chain interactions, which result in delays and additional costs.

These inefficiencies inhibit the user experience, restrict broader commercial adoption, and prevent Web3 from competing effectively with many Web2 use cases.

**Proposed Solution**

Our solution seeks to provide developers with a framework through which they can curate user experiences that more closely replicate what is possible in Web2, while preserving Web3's core principles of decentralization, security, and trustlessness.

Peer3 could be imagined as providing a new communication layer that sits on top of a parent Chain ‘X’. A Layer (X+1), where users (peers) can communicate off-chain on more arbitrary matters and bypass the need to interact with the ledger repeatedly. The underlying blockchain is only used for settlement, liveness and dispute resolution.

-   **Off-chain Execution:** Smart contracts execute in real-time directly on the users’ device. Transactions are gossiped peer-to-peer for other peers to validate. This saves time and cost, by removing the need for every transaction to execute on-chain.
-   **On-chain Security:** If malicious (byzantine) behaviour occurs off-chain, any honest (non malicious) peer will detect it. In such a case the peer will initialize a dispute on-chain leveraging the shared security of Polkadot to enforce correctness, resolve conflicts, and penalize malicious behavior.

**Market Opportunity**

By bridging the gap between the user experience of Web2 and the security and decentralization of Web3, we create lower barriers to entry for developers and open a world of exciting, new, and innovative use cases across multiple industries:

-   **Gaming:** Peer-to-peer interactions enable real-time multiplayer experiences from well known games like poker and chess to more complex and custom games.
-   **Payments:** Frequent payments between a group of participants (micropayments, cross-border/domestic bank settlements, splitting bills with friends).
-   **Consumer Applications:** Keep the speed and ease of use without keeping the middleman (Uber, DoorDash…)
-   **Supply Chain Management:** Real-time shipment tracking and blockchain-backed validation.
-   **Data Marketplaces:** Allow peers to trade large amounts of data in a fully verifiable and trustless way without having to pay on-chain fees.
-   **Social Apps:** Social apps and networks that go beyond communication and handle systems of value.
-   **Decentralized Finance (DeFi):** Innovative and complex arbitrary financial agreements directly between peers.

With Polkadot’s cutting-edge design, the SDK will attract developer talent, inspire innovation, and position Polkadot as the go-to ecosystem for a whole host of groundbreaking blockchain applications.

**Example Use Case - Peer-to-Peer Poker**

In traditional Web2 poker offerings, games rely on centralized servers and companies, which have historically led to major issues, including instances of insider tampering with card distributions, costing customers millions in unfair losses and crippling confidence. The most common complaints customers make are slow payouts, the games are rigged and their accounts getting banned if they win too much.

A decentralized poker game, where all actions are verifiable on-chain and players engage in real-time, would offer a far superior and transparent experience. However, Web3 systems today are ill-equipped to handle this due to the inherent slowness and high costs of processing each interaction on-chain.

Currently, two types of blockchain poker solutions exist, both with significant drawbacks:

-   ZK rollup-enabled, fully decentralized games: While decentralized, these games suffer from incredibly slow performance and high cumulative transaction fees, making them impractical for real-time gameplay and all but killing adoption.
-   Web2-based platforms accepting crypto: These platforms merely use cryptocurrency as the in-game currency while relying on traditional Web2 software and security, effectively missing the core principles of decentralization and trustlessness.

**Peer3 SDK enabled Poker:**

By utilizing the best elements of Web3, while maintaining the speed and user-experience of Web2, we enshrine Poker to be unstoppable, verifiably fair, censorship resistant, permissionless, still fun to play and more cost-effective than Web2 implementations. We go beyond gameplay and make it possible to do trustless aggregation of players (liquidity) where anyone can tap into the system (users directly or even a casino/operator) and by doing so they get instant access to an already established player base and in the process they too add to it and expand it - contributing to the network effect. All trustless and permissionless.

**How It Works**

Real-Time Gameplay:

-   Players establish a peer-to-peer state channel before starting the game.
-   Actions such as dealing cards, placing bets, and revealing hands happen off-chain, enabling fast and seamless gameplay.

Security and Trust:

-   Programmatic enforcement of game rules prevents cheating or unauthorized actions.
-   In case of disputes or malicious behavior, cryptographic proofs ensure the game state can be verified and resolved on-chain.

Low Costs:

-   Gameplay actions incur no transaction fees since they occur off-chain.
-   Only the final settlement, such as transferring winnings, is submitted to the blockchain, significantly reducing costs.

Privacy:

-   Sensitive data, like card hands and bets, is exchanged directly between players’ devices, ensuring privacy without compromising transparency.

In the end the game offers various benefits to both players and casinos/operators in comparison to other alternatives.

**Benefits for players (that play directly on the protocol):**

-   permissionless,
-   no intermediaries (there are no intermediaries to custody funds, shuffle the cards and organize the games. Users do that on their own, between each other and settle on a decentralized blockchain),
-   provably fair games,
-   unfreezable accounts (All accounts are non-custodial - the players control the private keys and use them to sign transactions. Only those private keys can move assets on a decentralized ledger (blockchain)),
-   instant deposits/payouts,
-   unstoppable & censorship resistant (Like blockchains these systems are designed to be resilient and live forever without any central points of failure.),
-   privacy (users decide what data they share and with whom),
-   lowest fees

**Benefits for casinos/operators:**

-   established player base,
-   white label,
-   custom fees & incentives,
-   revenue sharing with the protocol,
-   access to a global and permissionless market (like blockchains, the protocol offers anyone with an internet connection unrestricted access),
-   no intermediaries (White labels interact with the same underlying protocol that's fully permissionless and unstoppable),
-   easy integration (basic white labels can be integrated instantly with a few lines of code),
-   software (white label) available for free, forever

**Competition**

To our knowledge, Peer3 does not face direct competition within the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem or the broader Web3 space.

While most scaling solutions in Web3 are predominantly concerned with payment channels and prioritize server-side optimizations, Peer3 is pioneering a unique client-side framework, positioning itself as a truly differentiated solution in the blockchain space.

We plan to use the funds to hire more top talent to work on this (the SDK) full time and cover operational costs. The DOT portion of the payment will be used for our reserves to pay bonuses/incorporate into the compensation structure of the team and align our long term financial interests with the Polkadot ecosystem.
