Polkadot Wallet Advertising for the U.S. Public Through Google Ads/YouTube Ads

Hello Everyone,

I am from the U.S. and I own an entertainment company. I want to market DOT to non-crypto users in the U.S. by creating professional ads for Polkadot wallets and marketing them through Google Ads and YouTube Ads. I have used these services in the past to market other products. I also have contacts over at Google to help with this. The three wallets I have in mind are Nova, Talisman, and Subwallet. I believe, for non-developers, DOT's greatest value add is in its wallets and the staking rewards it provides.

There will be 3 ads that will rotate for the 239 million US accounts on YouTube/Google. The target audience will be anyone in the US over the age of 18 that are not interested in cryptocurrencies/blockchain. I think it will be a great way for the non-crypto audience in the U.S. to get exposure to Polkadot and get a glimpse of the great staking rewards it provides. The clickable ads will redirect the users to a webpage I will create which will explain to the audience what is Polkadot, how to legally buy Polkadot in the U.S., how to safely transfer the DOT to their self-custody wallets (all three wallets), and how to stake Polkadot to secure the network and get access to the great APY for staking their DOT.

This project will be fully transparent and refundable to an extent. I will be requesting about 15,000 DOT in total to be allocated for this project. 12,000 DOT will be reserved for the marketing initiative, while 3000 DOT will be reserved for the myself/team and will be accessed after the end of the 1-year initiative. Should the referendum pass, I will sell 1K DOT every month to raise USD to pay for Google/YouTube ads.  Let's say the current price of DOT is $7 USD. That would mean for the month the marketing budget will be $7000. If the price of DOT goes up, so will the advertising budget for that month. For example, if the price of DOT is $10, then the marketing budget for that month will be $10,000.00. The more money (The higher the price of DOT is) is spent, the more ads will show up for the U.S. Google/YouTube users. 

I will also create Key Position Indicators (KPIs) which include:

  1. Impressions: How many times the ad showed up for the audience?
  2. Views: How many times did the audience take the time to watch the ad? 
  3. Conversions: How many times did the audience click the ads to learn about Polkadot?

Refund Policy:
In any situation where the Polkadot community is unhappy with this initiative, they can demand a refund. For example, they are unhappy with the results of the KPIs for this initiative within the first 6 months. I will refund whatever DOT that has not been spent on marketing and half of the team allocation. Thank you for reading.
