My governance proposal

My governance proposal Feel free to interject, here are my thoughts. It's a living document, and open to critique. I'm trying to provide solutions, instead of complaining about a problem. QUADRATIC VOTING . -square the number of votes you'd like to submit to find out how many DOT that vote requires your account to possess in order to vote. For example: 1 vote requires 1 DOT. 5 votes requires 25 DOT. 9 votes requires 81 DOT. And so on.... To prevent a sybil attack, I propose accounts with less than 256 DOT (close enough to the staking minimum) must pay 0.5 DOT as a gas fee to vote. This encourages whales to not spread their millions of DOT across millions of accounts to hedge their loss of voting power. NON-TRANSFERRABLE REPUTATION TOKENS . Named 'HONOR' tokens from here on out -Attached to your network address. -When the account is reaped, the reputation tokens are burned. -They are non transferable. -Honor tokens can be lost via consensus as a mechanism to protect the network from account compromise. -Anyone can earn Honor token. Honor tokens would serve as a decentralized method to build a reputation and trust for benevolent actors. SENATE Synonymous with delegation. Those with the most honor token have option but not obligation to accept an invitation to become a senator, if nominated. -senators are nominated via community voting. -senators are the only ones that can submit referenda. -senators are the only ones who can vote for referenda. -senators must stake enough DOT to earn rewards on the network. -senators earn bonus DOT for voting on referenda. -senators lose honor for not voting. -senators can be slashed for malicious intent against the network. This is voted upon by the community. -when honor token is below a threshold, the senator is removed from the senate. Now, you have to, the floor. Thanks for looking. ########EDIT########## Thanks for the feedback! So far I see no criticism of the Quadratic voting mechanism with a sybil tax. If this remains the case for a few more days, I'll drop that idea on polkassembly for more discussion. Thanks, team! We can't do it alone! Thanks for the effort!
