Project Team Pearl is an interdisciplinary art-tech company, based in South Korea(mother country of Samsung Galaxy) currently incubating by Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), that designs the sci-fi worldview of 'Sepafuturism™' and works on various art-tech projects with the virtual creature-collection called 'Peary™'. They discuss the segmentation of perception through beings placed in extremely segmented situations and the ambiguous existence at boundaries. Our previous work can be checked here. Thanks to the support from this Event Bounty, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Polkadot for the first time ever from the blockchain space. Through this collaboration, we were captivated by the decentralized philosophy envisioned by Polkadot and Gavin Wood.

Leveraging our company's strength in consumer-facing planning and execution, we recruited an ex-Samsung Mobile product manager, an UX/UI designer from LG Electronics, and a hardware engineer(Raum Jeong) with extensive expertise in various fields, including medical equipment, rocket launchers, and shared electric scooters. Additionally, we brought on board Rhee | Polkadot APAC BD, with whom we collaborated during KBW2024, as an advisor (and more recruitments WIP), and began planning a new business venture for a Web3 smartphone incorporating our character IP collection - “Peary”.

peary.ai is the name of the ai-backed mobile phone we are creating 100% dedicated for Polkadot, revolutionizing the way users interact with blockchain through the creation of an AI-powered smartphone tailored specifically for the Polkadot ecosystem. Our goal is to make blockchain technology accessible and intuitive, combining cutting-edge hardware with AI-driven software to simplify the Web3 journey for users(including those from Web2) of all technical backgrounds. By integrating Polkadot's advanced infrastructure, peary.ai ensures seamless on-chain interactions, passive income generation, and a superior user experience through voice recognition and exclusive decentralized features. The peary.ai mobile runs on a custom PolkadotOS based on AOSP. With AOSP based OS, We do not need to be regulated to use only Google Services (such as Google Play, Gmail, Google Maps) so we can make this OS for both web2 & web3 services, especially for the Polkadot ecosystem projects. And also we are offering a robust SDK, the peary-sdk which can support many programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, React-Native, Flutter, etc. This SDK allows all the developers to integrate their dapps seamlessly and we are planning to make hooks or event emitters to catch/call the on-chain events. So it can allow developers to integrate our agent to use voice-activated AI assistants.
