Polkadot Head Ambassador – Hope Clary for Product

As a Head Ambassador (HA) for Polkadot, I will be 100% Dedicated to the Role. Knowing that I am no longer just representing myself. I am an extremely passionate representative of Polkadot and JAM who resides in North America, Miami metro area. After attending Decoded and meeting with a few Developers and seeing some of their current products and upcoming products, I would be focused on assisting the Polkadot Community to help Developers and/or the teams go to market on behalf of Polkadot. Additionally, it was suggested while at a WebZero meet-up that an additional way I can support onboarding to Polkadot would be to work and judge Hackathons by working with Developers prior, to better define their product, and after the Hackathon to help them further develop on Polkadot and become part of our eco. As a dedicated HA I would support all initiatives that strengthen the ECO from QA to go to Market.

To me the Head Ambassadors are not just faces, but speakers, strategists, facilitators of sales initiatives, internal processes and servicing the community. We lead, support and bring forth positive changes based on the best interests of Polkadot, Jam and its community.

• I understand I will be an ambassador to Polkadot’s best interests. I currently see this, but not limited to: Gaming, AI, Governess, CoreTime, Bridging Partnerships, facilitating trust within WEB3 and sharing benefits in normal relatable services of current WEB2 to facilitate transitions into WEB3.
• I am technical, experienced with legal negotiations & contracts in addition to translating to normie speak. Past work roles for a Network Switching Company: Corporate Technical Trainer, QA, Product Delivery, Product Manager, Product Strategy, Product Analyst.
o I will represent Polkadot HA on LinkedIn www.linkedin.com/in/hope-goodman-49217730 Having worked for a fortune 100 US company for over 20+ years. I was Product Delivery for Apple Pay in the US for this Network Switching Services company, they’re the WEB2 layer 0 equivalent of Polkadot for financial transactions. Meaning, we routed transactions from point-of-sale devices through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and banking network funnels for approval and denial of a consumers purchases. When meeting people, if asked what I do for a living, I would share my past job experience & lead into my current role as a Polkadot HA. I will be describing what Polkadot is to businesses and the functions we provide through WEB3…. Connecting Polkadot to real world adoption, awareness & usage.
o I can do presentations, write/collaborate on working legal agreements, and go after leads that would benefit Polkadot. I am actively going for additional collaboration initiatives for Polkadot that would help put us in the spotlight.
• I would like to mirror a BD team like Brazil in the US, or work with this high performing team on US initiatives, as they’re part of the America’s. I understand big deals are never done alone! In addition, it has been my experience that specific skills are needed for these teams to be successful.
• My goal as HA, for our HA team is to facilitate & support these initiatives. When working with global companies having representatives in multiple areas of the globe 🌐 will be beneficial.
o Success for global adoption of CoreTime and other products on-chain, we can introduce to businesses big and small, create strategies to execute upon! Example: reach out to local municipalities to see how various charity DAO’s within Polkadot may be of service in local communities.
o Beyond just charities, I see ways as a HA Team we can work to get positive media attention and connect with specific groups in our areas to help drive Polkadot forward for a WEB3 revolution!
• I would represent Polkadot to my Politicians, locals & in Washington DC. Living in the Miami Florida Metro area. We’re Bitcoin adaptive here (Bitcoin Bull in Financial District), I will work to drive more Polkadot adoption. Very large enterprises are moving to this area including Asset Management companies and other Fortune 500 companies in addition to TV & Movie Studio’s. As a HA Team we would collaborate on appropriate BD initiatives.
o I would welcome working closely and collaborating with legal counsel to facilitate deals & lobbying where appropriate.
• At times I will connect proposals or ideas to products within the ecosystem. I will make product recommendations & work with other talented people to make them a reality. New Product Ideas, Testing, Feedback, making introductions & pitches. Whatever is in the best interest of Polkadot and Jam!
• With access to footage, I would make appropriate presentations and commercials.
• Attending and creating events locally in addition to Crypto Conferences and Conferences of industries we’re looking to break into, or expand in.
• Create In person and online engagements to connect with other Crypto communities to facilitate collaboration & trust.
• Continued Participation in video meetings for Polkadot and Jam initiatives, Polkadot Forum, Telegram & helping people navigate all things Polkadot and Jam.
• Continued work on Bounties or where needed for DAO funding support.
• As HA I would always be open to connecting and creating collaborations with other Crypto Ecosystems, Participants and Products because Polkadot is the WEB3 Layer 0!
