Didn't think this through much, did you?

Sorry but this makes no sense. There's absolutely no correlation between being good/net positive and being anon. I can think of dozens of non doxxed agents, in many ecosystems, that are net positive. 0xTaylor is an obvious one in Polkadot, samczsun, zachxbt, banteg are well known others.

I am in favour of this proposal. Maybe not necessarily for bounty curators, but definitely for HAs. I am well aware that a lot of value has been created by pseudonymous accounts in this space (Satoshi Nakamoto for one), But the position of HA to publicly represent Polkadot necessitates a real world identity. I for one have tied by real name to my HA application from day one. https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/861

I am sure that this WFC will get a lot of pushback from members of ChaosDAO, as they thrive on anonymity, and secrecy. As said, there is plenty to do for annons in the crypto space, but being and HA (the public face of Polkadot) is not one of them.

As a quick reminder, of the current HAs Leemo and DonDiegoSanchez are pseudonyms who consistently refuse to disclose their real names.

If there were a formal "constitution" of the network, this would definitely be unconstitutional.

Correction - DonDiego Sanchez did disclose his real name in his initial HA Application. My apologies. For Leemo however I think still nobody knows his name. In any case, KYC on HAs is definitely a good idea.

@lv I think you missed the point here. We don't wanna KYC everyone on the Polkadot network. Just the ones who want to get elected to a representative, well-paid position. I don't think it's too much to ask for them to disclose their real name.
