Context

The Polkadot Ambassador Program was an initiative of Web3 Foundation that concluded in January 2024. Now the program was restructured and approved through an on-chain community vote.

The Polkadot community has decided to maintain the ambassador program, with global representatives responsible for advancing the development, promotion, education, and communication of the ecosystem. This transition underscores the community's recognition of the vital role these ambassadors and teams play in the ecosystem's growth and evolution.
It is now the responsibility of the Head Ambassadors to assemble a team with different profiles that work together and collaborate with the global community to implement a strategic plan that further advances the Polkadot ecosystem and its technology.

Problem and challenges to be addressed

Network changes: Polkadot is undergoing a profound transformation, highlighting the crucial need for comprehensive technical and non-technical communication, education and training to foster the expansion of the ecosystem.
Brand Recognition Deficit: The Polkadot brand currently suffers from a notable lack of visibility, hindering its ability to attract attention and maintain the network effect within the industry.
Integration Complexities: The process for projects to join the Polkadot ecosystem is marred by complexities, several projects face challenges in effectively joining the Polkadot ecosystem, resulting in missed opportunities for ecosystem integration and growth.

In order to address the problem, we propose to work on verticals with development objectives defined below:

Implementation

The team will implement these verticals through a quarterly plan, collaborating with selected community members. Tasks will be assigned based on expertise and networks, ensuring efficient execution.
Funding will be requested through on-chain referenda to ensure community approval and access treasury funds.
A detailed agenda outlining the four-month plan for each defined vertical will be presented to the community.

Hello @saxemberg thanks for your question.

We are a team of 5 people, Hernan, Lengo, Nachito and Roco from Polkadot Hub, Buidlers and Dotcast.
Each of us actively participates in the ecosystem in different ways (Nachito and Roco in Dotcast) communication, Lengo as a technical and non-technical educator, Hernan and I more focused on non-technical education and BD.
My main job is to connect with different ecosystems and projects so I'm full time with that and focused on continuing to build and grow the ecosystem with new projects and B2B relationship.
Our approach as team is mixed, for education and MKT focus is Spanish speaking and for BD is global, in fact I actively participate in global events.

I am from Argentina, and I can assure everyone that working with this woman is unbearable.

Everyone hates her, she fights with absolutely the whole ecosystem, many times shouting.

She doesn't even take into account the people who speak well of her. All she does is kick people out of Polkadot. Many of us participate in meetings until we get tired of sharing with this insane person who insults and assaults.

I am surprised and deeply sorry for this type of offensive comments to which I am not used to and that does not seek to criticize the proposal but to hurt me as a person. I do not usually respond to this type of offenses but for a question of responsibility I will do it as an exception.
It is the first time I read something like this in the forum or heard it in person. There is no honest Polkadot person in the region who has left our teams or initiatives. We are always the same teams working to move the ecosystem forward in the region and globally.
I reiterate that I am surprised by this kind of personal attack from an anonymous account without any kind of interaction, however, and if @Bloak agrees, I am available to talk about the ideas you have to improve the ecosystem.
