i'm saddened by this. i didn't think it would pass, either, but sometimes when we play with fire we get burned.
though i say this with utmost respect for Ben, perhaps this is testament to his gift for stirring sh*t up, but you would already know about that.
this decision was provoked by ref 935 which was completely unnecessary and probably should have been initiated by an account without ties to the team.
always as we carry ourselves, either as ambassadors or core team, we represent the projects we associate ourselves with.

It is astonishing to see how some comments can be so gullible to not even verify fakes.
The proposal statement is a plain lie, I have never ever had a "hostile attitude against Polkadot". Just ask yourself a second why there is no proof provided: there is none (just read my answer).
Therefore, this proposal has no value whatsoever as it relies on a fake information. The information is as fake as the profile "Michiko Watanabe" created and elected head ambassador by giottodf himself (no need to be the sharpest tool in the shed to know that 15QupQzf9Gir1b4cGpt5Nc3JuRo645vkTeLm1XJNszBz9r2h is giottodf).

Hello, this is Michiko, the new Head Ambassador from Japan :) I know Astar well because also in Japan. I met Sota Watanabe a few time, he is smart man, but I think not very interested in Polkadot. He move Astar to zkEVM on Polygon, which I think is bad idea, bc Polkadot is better technology. So I believe Giotto-san is right, we should exclude Astar from marketing budget. Maybe Sandeep from Polygon should pay his marketing now instead ;)
