LiteScan is a lightweight indexer for Polkadot chains which empowers anyone to run their own indexer in minutes and enjoy privacy, independence or cost savings
LiteScan was developed by Piero (pifragile) over the past few months. It uses MongoDB to store data of blocks, extrinsics and events and works out of the box for Polkadot and its parachains. The idea for the indexer came when Encointer was in need for blockchain data to power its accounting backend and its app and other indexer solutions became cumbersome to maintain.
Since then, Encointer is using LiteScan in production, it took us about 15 minutes to get it up and running.
If you need to quickly retrieve and store blockchain data of Polkadot or one of its parachains, without any setup, this indexer is for you.
Along with the indexer itself, LiteScan comes with an easy to use Docker setup to run and test the indexer. Please find the code and documentation below.

try it out! you'll be indexing in minutes!
We propose a tip of 868 DOT to retroactivley support the development of LiteScan.
Thank you @brenzi for bringing this to all the community members.
@piero g. Ser, Thank you for building this. I request you to please add this to AwesomeDot repo, so it will help Polkadot community members.
