Dear Polkadot community,
I am Siyu Liu, and this is my application for the position of Polkadot Head Ambassador.
I hold a master degree of finance from Peking University and I’m also a graduate of Polkadot Blockchain Academy in Hong Kong. I entered the web3 industry in 2017 and have been engaged in investment and incubation in the web3 industry. I founded an incubator called Web3Link, which is committed to helping blockchain projects in providing one-stop solutions such as fund-raising, marketing, community-operating, and listing.

Every year, more than 100 projects apply to join the web3link incubator, which has become the vantage for my applying for Polkadot Head Ambassador -- bringing more projects to the Polkadot ecosystem.
Why choose me?
1. Chinese people have always been important participants in the Polkadot ecosystem. In Polkadot ecosystem, there have been a large number of Chinese founders and developers, as well as many believers and holders from China. However, the market popularity of Polkadot in China has declined since the Polkadot Parachain Auction.
As an early holder of dot, I have never sold my dot and have actively participated in staking on Acala, Bifrost and Parallel (12uMmwxjpbntEkvfHDgb9Kdpeo98LNsj7KRLKMMqq4BdG5Qz). As most dot holders, I believe that Polkadot will definitely gain higher market popularity and project participation than before the Parachain Auction.
Such expectancy is closely related to the prosperity of the Chinese market. I have the ability to assist Polkadot to business-develop more Chinese founders through incubators and recruit them into the Polkadot ecosystem.
2. Web3link and I have established an investment alliance consisting of dozens of investment institutions including Binance Labs, OKX Ventures, Hashkey Capital, etc., which will provide financing docking for the projects in Polkadot ecosystem and the projects that are about to enter the ecosystem. Obtaining funds is extremely important for every project founder, but it is our advantage. We can effectively help project founders obtain funds quickly.
3. We can provide a series of technical courses for the founders selected for the incubator, can invite founders from Polkadot ecosystem and Oneblock+ developer community members to give lectures, to explain Polkadot's technical route, and to guide them to use Polkadot SDK for their projects. We can also provide these project founders with courses in financing, marketing and legal compliance, to make Web3link a Chinese version of Polkadot Blockchain Academy.
4. I have established a community containing hundreds of Chinese KOLs, and here is a list of KOLs. This community can effectively help Polkadot increase exposure and publicity.
5.I am also an entrepreneur in the field of Fintech. In 2017, I was selected into the Forbes 30 Under 30 China List. I founded the Angelstreet in 2014, which was one of the earliest equity crowdfunding platforms in China. It helped more than 50 projects to obtain equity crowdfunding financing.
In 2015, I founded Credit Wallet, which was based on Finance + AI. It used tens of thousands of risk factors and risk control models to quickly evaluate users' credit, helping most Chinese people without credit records to obtain financial services. It helped more than 5 million users. The entrepreneurial experience in the field of Fintech has made me better understand how to help a project from 0 to 1. I also hope to bring my successful experience in web2 to web3 to achieve mass adoption of the Polkadot.
In addition, I also want to deploy a project I founded, "Postman Protocol", in the Polkadot ecosystem. Postman Protocol is a new email service protocol that combines blockchain technology and traditional SMTP protocol, aiming to improve the security, privacy protection and user experience of email transmission. Through innovations such as decentralized account management, peer-to-peer encryption and blockchain stamps, the protocol solves the challenge of security vulnerabilities and efficiency issues in current email services, and promotes the development of the ecosystem through token incentives. Work Agenda Summary
• Represent Polkadot to participate in activities in China and ASEAN.
• Hold Polkadot technology meetings every month to guide more developers and entrepreneurs to join the Polkadot ecosystem.
• Establish Polkadot China Incubator to provide systematic blockchain courses for project founders who join the incubator, and help them raise funds, build teams, and enter the secondary market.
• Business-develop more mature blockchain projects into the Polkadot ecosystem.
• Business-develop more Chinese KOLs to participate in discussions on the Polkadot ecosystem, to bring more media and community exposure, and to develop more Dot holders from China.
• Connect Polkadot with the Hong Kong government.
Conclusion
My purpose of becoming the Polkadot Head Ambassador is very clear, which is to develop the chinese market for Polkadot. I will not only help One Block+ attract more developers, but also help them use Polkadot SDK to start projects, build teams, obtain financing, and enter the secondary market. Meanwhile, I will also hold Polkadot technical meetings in China every month to increase the exposure of Polkadot in China and to create a more prosperous Polkadot supporter community.
