Short Description: Create a Bounty focused on the Spanish-speaking community to empower content creation and events within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Context:
Good things must be repeated and that is why the proposal for the V2 Spanish bounty is presented with the intention of enhancing the great achievements reached in the first edition.
The Spanish-speaking community has been recognized as one of the most active in the ecosystem and this milestone has been achieved, to a large extent, thanks to its content creators and to this bounty that served as a springboard to further boost the great talent of all its members and the region as a whole.
One of the greatest value propositions we have as a collective behind the bounty is that we know each and every member who submits content. There are hundreds of enthusiasts, candidates, ambassadors and curators who are rowing in the same direction: to spread the goodness of this ecosystem through one of the most spoken language in the world.
Once the first bounty was launched, and as part of the learning process itself, we identified improvements to be applied. This process of continuous improvement will continue to be applied in this V2 Spanish Bounty.
Thanks to all the experience gained with the first version and the closeness with the Spanish-speaking community, we received several constructive criticisms that we have been able to transform into better curation criteria and more requirements that will translate into a better quality of content.
Among the improvements that have been implemented and that provide a substantial differential with respect to this bounty and the previous version are the following:
• Elimination of the dubbing section.
• Equalization of rewards in the different areas of the Bounty.
• Improved user experience.
• Improvement of evaluation criteria.
The objective of this bounty is to reward the community's content creators for their efforts in creating content in Spanish, as well as to ensure that the content created is of quality and kept in line with the needs of the ecosystem. And in this way, encourage them to spend more time creating content and making the ecosystem known to as many people as possible.
The proposal is to create an evaluation team made up of Spanish-speaking curators with knowledge mainly in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem and technical knowledge in the areas of analysis, incorporating defined criteria for each area of assessment.
The curators are also aware of the idiosyncrasies, culture and movements of the Latin American/Spanish region, so we have the necessary experience to evaluate what needs to be presented within this bounty.
To summarize, the goal of creating this bounty is the curation of both Spanish content and events created by the community with a focus on speed, effectiveness and control for content audits. In this way, we are seeking to canalize the different proposals that are presented through Polkadot's Treasury by experts in the subject.
For this proposal, the scope of work of this bounty is divided into the following categories:
· Translation of content into Spanish
· Creation of Spanish language writing content
· Creation of Spanish language audiovisual content
· Organization of events oriented to the Spanish-speaking community
Curators:
Lorena Fabris, Polkadot Head Ambassador for Latin America and creator of Polkadot Hub in Spanish.
Gerardo Alvarez. Polkadot Ambassador and content creator.
Hernán Borelli, Polkadot and Kusama Senior Ambassador and creator of Polkadot Hub.
Ignacio Castex (or "Nachito"), Polkadot Agent and Senior Ambassador.
Ezio Rojas, Former Social Media and Community Manager for Latin America and Spain at Parity Technologies.
Albert Burgos (or I Love Cripto), Head Ambassador for Spain and cofounder of Let it Happen Events company.
Jonatan Sandes (or Lengo). Technical curator. Polkadot Ambassador for Latin America.
