Moralis-Moonbeam Integration Focus

The Polkadot ecosystem faces the challenge of onboarding developers who are accustomed to the EVM ecosystem and/or are new to blockchain development. There are some excellent teams within this space, and we are keen on making Polkadot more accessible.

We propose integrating Moonbeam, a well-established EVM-compatible chain, with Moralis.io's renowned infrastructure, APIs, & developer tooling to significantly lower the barrier to entry. This integration would help alleviate this pain point and could serve as one of the major gateways for individuals from the EVM developer community.

The broader benefit to the ecosystem includes drawing attention to Polkadot & driving increased engagement on the relay. We are confident that the advantages of enabling cross-chain interactions through XCM, among other features, will encourage developers to delve deeper into our extremely versatile community.

We believe moonbeam (as the largest EVM chain on Polkadot) is an ideal starting point for this integration and opens the door for other Polkadot EVM-compatible solutions in the future. This proposal aims to foster growth within Polkadot as a whole by giving new and current developers industry leading tools and infrastructure to build their applications.
