Dear council/treasury
I am Global Head Ambassador community moderation polkadot and have been blown away by my fellow Head Ambassador France for his contributions in our space.
He hasnt got a dot account yet with identity, but his account he has shared on his bio on his website:
www.techmedev.eu (adress bottom of the page)
https://logion.network/
I have invited him here to elaborate on his efforts and inputs, but as an intro, this is what he wrote to me when i asked if he got any sleep the last months:

David’s Polkadot involvement – the summary
I have two main types of activities: one is full community oriented and the second is focused on the
development of my projects that I believe could contribute to the strengthening of the Polkadot
ecosystem.
Community involvement:
- As Ambassador, firstly, I’ve created a little group to organize event about Polkadot and all the project gravitating within its ecosystem. The first meetup on July 3rd was supposed to pave the way for the next one.
Designated Head Ambassador, I decided to increase the tempo and to create Polkadot Francophonie
(Discord community), with the aim to enroll more ambassadors of Polkadot in France and in the
French-speaking community, but also to gather the French-speaking ambassadors of all the projects
developed within Polkadot ecosystem (Acala, Phala…).
We already have a first program with some events, exchanges until the end of the year. This community is only one week old and it's summer time. Things are still going to evolve.
The current planning:
- Between the end of August and the end of the year, I will organize a Crowdcast with each
ambassador of each main project to highlight the project's contribution to Polkadot;
- For the beginning of September, I'm working on a special edition around the Réunion Island and its
blockchain ecosystem, focused on Polkadot;
- Before the end of September, I'll organize a meetup about validators and governance with the help
of François Branciard;
- In October: "blockchain, legal and economic constraints from the real world" with lawyers, economists;
- In November: special edition around NFT & Metaverse;
- December: topic to be confirmed.
- In Wallonia (Belgium), I co-founded WalChain, a people network working on the blockchain technology promotion. Within this group, I relay everything I catch from the Polkadot ecosystem that could be interesting for Wallonia, institutions, companies.
The University of Namur will start working with substrate on an E-Health project. If we get funding from our government (on-going process), we also plan to develop a substrate testnet to support some "Walloon" uses-cases.
- Thanks to WalChain, I'm also taking part in the Francophone blockchain collective. This group organizes Francophone villages around several major IT events. I'm invited as an expert to talk about:
the Polkadot ecosystem and the projects I'm working on: logion (legaltech) + NFT / musictech (the contribution of blockchain to the creative industry). It's perhaps a detail but all my wallpapers, my clothes are always oriented to the promotion of Polkadot, as logion also.
I ‘m already committed to the next Blockchain Stampede Summit and MTL Connected.
- In France, I take part in the 50 blockchain experts’ group (as a writer). The group is currently working on a book in which I'm going to contribute with an article on how Polkadot works. I'm also going to start a collaboration with blockchain@HEC in September. I will be in charge of the Polkadot topics but probably, later on, of some topics related to logion development.
- With the development of logion, I'm going to be more involved in building a stronger link between the legal world and blockchain technology. We started the process with a first seminar organized in June with Larcier Editions. We would continue in France at the end of the summer. But for the coming months, a new important commitment is going to train lawyers to smart contracts, built on
Ink. It is a new request which I received recently. Another person will do the same job, starting fromSolidity.
This last point is a perfect bridge to switch on my projects.
The projects I’m involved in:
logion:
A public blockchain network owned by legal officers ()
that provides a decentralized and legal guarantee
for all digital assets and blockchain based transactions
() Baillifs, Notaries, Lawyers-Notaries...
These guarantees are used and developed in a decentralized way to bring unique and specific contributions to the Polkadot ecosystem.
To demonstrate this, we are working on two very concrete first use cases:
• A wallet enhanced by an institutional recovery function
• An NFT creation process providing more value to the asset through a better compliance with the real—world legal constraints
A light presentation of the logion potential is available in a second file.
Something important I think. These NFT will be created with known artists, labels and companies, in France and maybe in Canada. The communication campaign which will promote the project should highlight the Polkadot ecosystem.
There will also be positive benefits for the community development. This is how the circle becomes closed.
Obviously, there is still a lot of work to do before the realization of all the project.
Of course, all this would not be possible without the support of the logion team and the support of the Polkadot Francophonie team
