Polkadot Decoded 2024 in Brussels was one of the big FLOP events in 2024.
The only parts that are saved are the CD Bar and Vibe.
Completly wrong:
- Location. Literally outside of all main events in the city which prevents people from arriving there
- Size of the premises. It's too big for the number of people who joined Decoded.
- Paid tickets. The location was a big issue to arrive at this event, but paid tickets just added a cherry on top with the result: EMPTY event.
- No institutional interaction.
- No swags for Ethcc visitors.

Clear NAY from my side.

Dear Proposer,

Thank you for your proposal. Our first vote on this proposal is **NAY**.

The **Medium Spender** track requires **50% quorum and simple majority of all voters** according to our voting policy. This proposal has received **one aye and eight nay** votes from **ten members**, with **one member abstaining**. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

> In a recent referendum, the majority of voters expressed concerns regarding financial mismanagement related to treasury operations. Many highlighted significant profits from DOT price volatility that were not effectively utilized, leading to perceived mismanagement of funds. Criticism centered on the timing of DOT sales and the high amounts requested for additional funding, which seemed unjustified given previous allocations. Overall, voters called for improved budget management, transparency, and accountability, reflecting a strong sentiment against the handling of financial resources.
