Hey GM
How can I access the SQD APIs for public chains like asset-hub and polkadot, which is available at no cost as per the statement in proposal?

If Kusama referendum 498 "10 Million DOT from W3F & Transition Away From Being A Canary Network" gets approved as well as whatever consequent referendum (if needed).
We would strongly recommend to remove the Kusama costs from future support as that would no longer be suitable for Polkadot's OpenGov. It'll entirely belong to another blockchain.
Also, if the current vote gets NAYed because of the current support for Kusama, we would also consider voting AYE for a Polkadot (and system chains) only version of this referendum.

Dear Proposer,

Thank you for your proposal. Our vote on this proposal is AYE.

The Medium Spender track requires 50% quorum and simple majority of non-abstain voters according to our voting policy. This proposal has received six aye and one nay votes from ten members, with three members abstaining. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

Most members supported the funding request due to its perceived value and reasonable costs. Several members emphasized the importance of maintaining developer resources for public chains while suggesting an evaluation at the end of the period. Some abstained due to a lack of technical understanding or uncertainty about the staffing needs. A dissenting vote preferred a subscription-based funding model for apps using Squids. Overall, the majority found the proposal justified.

The full discussion can be found in our internal voting.

Kind regards,
Permanence DAO
