Hi!, Tadeus (ambassador) here!
The proposal is relevant for a few reasons:

Brazil is a potential that has so far been little explored by the ecosystem. Much in view of what has happened in the past, with isolated and ill-founded initiatives. This has led to the emergence of illegitimate representatives of the ecosystem, and the unseemly use of the treasury for events with very low returns and gains in political influence for actors that we have managed to keep out at great cost due to bad and unethical practices.

This proposal is now part of an internal policy of the ambassadors program, and organized based on the objective, now authorized for business development incursions, which was not the case before.

This is much better structurally, ethically and cohesively.
As far as I can tell, the team proposes tangible goals.

I myself am involved in Central Bank working groups and DREX test networks with various sectors and companies, and there is a significant absence of polkadot's potential with these players.

The Brazilian scenario is projected for the next three to five years by public and private initiatives. What is built now can generate good foundations for the ecosystem in the future.

I wish the community success and support for the project.

In Polkadot Philosophy, we've reviewed the proposal for expanding Polkadot in Brazil. We're excited about this, as Brazil's a big market for crypto, and we think Polkadot can make a mark there.

What We Like:
Big Opportunity: Brazil's huge in crypto, and we think Polkadot should be there.
Local Know-How: The team knows Brazil well, which is great for making things happen.
Important Partnerships: Working on big projects like Brazil’s digital currency could show off what Polkadot can do.

But there are a Few Points to Watch:
The Budget: It's a lot of money, so we want to spend it wisely.
Measuring Success: We should set clear goals and regularly check how things are going.
Global Picture: Let's ensure this fits with Polkadot's plans worldwide.
We're behind this idea, but let's keep an eye on these points to make it a success. It's a great chance for Polkadot to grow in a key market like Brazil.

Cheers,
