Summary: In an era where social media is dominated by big tech, we need to evolve into a healthy social media ecosystem, as the Internet has become inherently social. This proposal, submitted by the Frequency Foundation, seeks support from the Polkadot community for a side event at Polkadot Decoded in Brussels. The event is designed to showcase the transformative potential of integrating Frequency’s blockchain technology with MeWe’s social media platform. This initiative will demonstrate how these technologies can significantly enhance data privacy, digital identity, and user empowerment, thereby crafting a healthier and more user-centric internet.
Objectives: Educate and Engage: Increase awareness within the Polkadot community about the innovative uses of Frequency and MeWe technologies for enhancing user privacy and control.
Demonstrations: Provide live demonstrations of Frequency Access, Community Rewards and on Frequency’s blockchain capabilities are implemented within the MeWe platform. Attract Crypto Community: Highlight the integration of MeWe with Frequency, showcasing how a Layer-1 parachain on Polkadot can deliver Web3 functionalities efficiently, attracting crypto/Web3/DeSo enthusiasts.
Collaborative Opportunities: Foster new project explorations and collaborations within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Key Activities: Workshops: Interactive workshops to engage participants directly with Frequency and MeWe tools and technologies.
Panel Discussions: Panel discussions with industry leaders to explore the future of decentralized social media.
Networking Opportunities: Create environments conducive to networking, fostering relationships between developers and influencers in the blockchain space.

Thank you for your response. It feels like the event could be done for 1/3 of the price, but it's a question if your community members will be willing to find better deals or will they just go with this what was presented. Which honestly feels a bit too much for one day event.
