Supporting Proposal 911 means endorsing a project that will bring significant improvements to the Polkadot bounty management process. The development of a dedicated Bounty Manager UI enhances user experience, transparency, and accessibility, while also supporting decentralized governance and community growth. By voting in favor, the community can ensure a more efficient and scalable bounty system, aligning with Polkadot’s vision of a robust, decentralized ecosystem.
This is a much-needed initiative that will help onboard the next wave of participants for OpenGov.
The Galani team reached out to us and joined the UX Guild to ensure their experience is shared with other teams and aligned with the ongoing efforts to unify the UX in the ecosystem.
However, while it's a solid v1 for milestone 1, Braille would love to see more emphasis on the user journey for milestone 2, detailing what the user will be able to do.
Also, it would be nice to have a UI that is more OpenGov-friendly, using Polkadot branding.
We agree that later it would make sense to add it to the existing governance platforms, but since the development is open source, it will allow to move forward in parallel and include them in Subsquare and Polkassembly in the process.
