Given the current economic constraints and the need for careful resource allocation, it may be prudent to prioritize funding for projects that offer more direct and measurable benefits to the Polkadot ecosystem.

+1 to make something around Devcon in Bangkok in November, given the huge amount of crypto ppl going there.

The amount of criticism and shade surrounding Decoded 2024, and the previous editions of it, or Sub0 make me think events organization have to be re-thought. Also:

• previous expenses have been shady to say the least
• you have received many feedbacks, about catering, size of the event, among other things but you did not seem to listen or act upon them

I do not think that asking for a pre-funding of over half a million $ now makes sense.
We must have more competition in the event sector, better feedback loop and generally increase the amount of satisfaction.

As much as I would love to see more Sub0 and enjoyed the previous ones, I hear abundant and valid criticism from previous events and suggest working on addressing those before proceeding with the next event.
