Dear Polkadot Community,

We are Metaschool, an edtech platform for devs to learn, build and ship in web3, and we would like to present a Learning Track for Developers interested in learning Polkadot ecosystem.

The Problem
Despite the availability of impressive infrastructure, only 22,000 out of the massive 30 million global developers are currently active in the web3 space. However, Metaschool is leading the way in realizing a decentralized internet by attracting more developers to web3.
For beginners, Polkadot offers a superior ecosystem. The Substrate SDK enables developers to quickly launch their own L1 protocol. As the ink! contract in the Polkadot ecosystem utilizes Rust, web2 developers already familiar with it will find themselves comfortable. Additionally, the XCM presents an excellent cross-consensus communication system that incentivizes developers to build for future interoperability. Surprisingly, even with these advantages, 20% of newcomers still choose Ethereum as their first blockchain.

The main obstacle to Polkadot's adaptability lies in layer zero, a new concept for developers. The solution lies in providing a curated path that allows developers to comprehend the entire ecosystem through a diverse toolchain.

Proposed Solution:
Our proposal, titled "Demystifying Polkadot," aims to create a comprehensive learning path that will establish the Polkadot ecosystem as the preferred platform for blockchain developers. The objective is to provide developers with a step-by-step guide through courses ranging from beginner to advanced structured as a roadmap, enabling them to gain a deep understanding of the Polkadot ecosystem. This guide will cover essential concepts such as architecture, parachains, and cross-chain communication, allowing developers to construct scalable and interoperable applications.
Metaschool intends to demonstrate to beginners that Polkadot, with its developer-friendly features like shared security, ink! contract, Substrate SDK, and XCM, should be their primary choice for building dApps. Our goal is to deliver beginner-friendly content that empowers developers to create a parachain on Polkadot, thus nurturing a more inclusive and robust community. We are committed to unlocking the full potential of Polkadot and propelling it towards becoming the ultimate solution for constructing interconnected and scalable blockchain applications.

How are we different:
Metaschool stands out from other educational platforms by offering a unique approach to learning and supporting blockchain developers. Our focus is on bridging the gap between beginners and the Polkadot ecosystem, providing content that is specifically designed to cater to the needs of developers who are new to the technology. Unlike other platforms that may overwhelm beginners with complex technical jargon, Metaschool simplifies the learning process with beginner-friendly content and step-by-step guides. We emphasize hands-on experience and practical application, empowering developers to confidently build their own parachains on Polkadot. By fostering a supportive and inclusive community, Metaschool ensures that developers feel encouraged and equipped to navigate the intricacies of the Polkadot ecosystem.

Funds Requested:
For this initiative to foster the Polkadot's ecosystem, we are requesting a total of 31,612 DOTs (at $5.86 USD per DOT) which will include all operational cost to create the educational module and also maintenance cost to maintain the learning track indefinitely

Feedback:
Here we are requesting you valuable feedbacks on this proposal and we are open to any idea which adds value to Polkadot's ecosystem
