Hi Everyone

Here is our proposal for establishing a self-service fleet of Polkadot Bikes during the Olympics & Paralympics in Paris. It represents a unique combination of a real-world utility service and a significant marketing opportunity for Polkadot.

1. CONTEXT:

With the imminent arrival of the Olympics in Paris, particularly in Seine-Saint-Denis, a substantial influx of visitors is anticipated, estimated at approximately 16 million, nearly eight times the current population of Paris. Furthermore, access to cars and motorcycles will be restricted, permitting only pedestrians and bicycles around the sporting facilities or the Olympic Village. Saint-Denis alone will accommodate 10,500 athletes and 206 delegations, boasting infrastructure such as the Stade de France and the Olympic Pool.

2. ISSUE:

The combination of a massive influx of tourists, overcrowded public transportation systems, and rising prices creates a recipe for disaster. Moreover, to date, no mobility service in Paris, especially, has been established with cryptocurrency payment options. There is no official mobility solution chosen by the city of Paris, thus no communication about alternative transport solutions offering attractive prices or payment flexibility, including credit card or cryptocurrency options.

3. SOLUTION:

Drawing on our expertise with neighboring cities such as Stains and La Courneuve, where we have successfully offered similar services, we intend to deploy a fleet of POLKADOT Bikes in strategic high-traffic locations around Saint-Denis. Our aim is to become the first mobility service provider offering a fleet of high-quality bikes at affordable prices with payment flexibility, including cryptocurrency (Dot) or card options.

This initiative presents a unique opportunity to market the Polkadot brand during the Olympics and to associate it with a much-needed real-world service.

The project entails deploying a fleet of 100 Polkadot-branded electric-assist bikes in high- traffic areas and developing iOS and Android mobile applications that reflect the Polkadot brand and logo. These applications will integrate a cryptocurrency payment module using STRIPE's solution.

Additionally, we will establish a bike maintenance service and provide customer support seven days a week. Social media communication campaigns will also be launched to promote the use of Polkadot bikes and highlight the novelty of paying with cryptocurrency.
