AirLyft allows projects to create actions tailored to the specific functionalities a product offers. With its versatile integrations, it seamlessly queries data both on-chain and off-chain, enabling conditional functions to validate on-chain actions effortlessly. This approach drives on-chain growth, enhances product adoption, and provides genuine incentives to users. Below are some of the key AirLyft features for the Polkadot Ecosystem .
We would like to propose to the Polkadot Treasury, a community engagement initiative that aims to boost growth for Polkadot projects through a dual program:
The objective of this activity would be to help projects create on-chain campaigns easily to enhance product adoption, user engagement and ecosystem growth by supporting emerging projects with tools that promote community building and interactive quests.
We’ve been able to significantly reduce the time and resources they spend on community-building and marketing efforts. In fact, many projects like Tanssi Network, Astar Network, Moonbeam & Moonriver Network, Bifrost, & others have saved more than 80% of their community and marketing efforts thanks to our solutions.
The first Polkachievers campaign was hosted in the months of August & September 2024. 15 projects from the Polkadot Ecosystem collaborated in this campaign, in which over 14k users participated and minted 1000+ PAT NFTs (Such as Talisman PAT , Astar PAT ) on the AssetHub chain. Upon approval of this proposal, we will execute three additional seasons of the Polkachiever campaign to sustain community engagement and growth. Each new season will introduce distinctive quests from a variety of projects, featuring on-chain activities, educational challenges, and social tasks, culminating in the minting of exclusive AssetHub NFTs.
Participants who collect these NFTs across multiple seasons will gain access to a ranked random raffle with progressively larger prize pools. Early collectors minting NFTs in the initial seasons will receive special benefits in subsequent rounds. Key highlights of the Polkachievers campaign season 1 campaign.
The campaign received great responses both from projects and community alike.
AirLyft was introduced to Polkadot 18 months ago with the goal of enhancing the platform’s ecosystem by supporting both EVM and Substrate functionalities. Since then, we have been working diligently to build features that streamline a wide range of processes including onboarding, loyalty programs, community engagement, ambassador initiatives, and more. Our approach is centred around providing tangible value to projects on Polkadot before making any formal requests to the treasury.
Substrate Pallets
Substrate Pallets allow projects to interact with and verify conditions on any Substrate-based parachain by calling chain state functions. These functions provide a way to query the current state of the blockchain. Chain state functions in Substrate-based networks like Polkadot and its parachains offer a powerful and efficient method to retrieve specific pieces of information from the blockchain. These functions can be used to verify user actions, account balances, smart contract states, and other on-chain data, making them ideal for creating verifiable quests in AirLyft campaigns.
Currently, there are some specific pallet queries that have an easy configuration while all other queries can be converted into a quest through condition functions. As the usage increases, we would be converting more pallet queries to easily configurable quests. The one’s currently supported are:
Exposable APIs and Webhooks
AirLyft provides enterprise customers with exposable APIs that enable projects to access participation data on their own platforms. For instance, projects can create a custom leaderboard on a third-party platform and feed data directly from AirLyft via APIs. There are no limitations on the types of actions they can perform using these APIs, and AirLyft is fully equipped to support these activities.
Widget (demo)
The AirLyft Widget is a powerful, easy-to-integrate tool that enables blockchain projects to run campaigns directly on their own domain. With just a simple two-line script, projects can launch interactive quests, verify on-chain, social, and off-chain actions, conduct quizzes, run referral programs, and distribute rewards such as tokens or NFTs—all without needing extensive development resources. The widget is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing for a fully customizable user experience that aligns with the project’s branding and objectives. By using the AirLyft Widget, projects can engage their community, incentivize participation, and drive user growth effortlessly, making it an essential component of any Web3 marketing strategy.
Analytics & Data Export
AirLyft offers comprehensive analytics that provide performance benchmarks to evaluate campaign effectiveness, eliminating guesswork. Some of the key performance indicators (KPIs) we track at the campaign level include task-level conversions, campaign views, participation rates, actions completed, growth over specific dates or date ranges, and task conversion percentages. These metrics are visually represented in line graphs to clearly depict campaign growth trends. Additionally, all participation and task data can be effortlessly exported as a single CSV or XLS file, offering a unified view of campaign participation.
Automated Rewarding
AirLyft provides a comprehensive range of reward types designed to effectively incentivize and engage users within the blockchain ecosystem. These reward options include:
AirLyft also offers flexibility in winner selection mechanisms to cater to different project needs, including:
If the reward token already exists, then it can be used as it is, or if it doesn’t then Assets or NFTs can be directly created through the AirLyft UI.
Native & EVM AirPools
AirLyft is committed to saving significant time for marketing and community teams by eliminating the complexities of verification, shortlisting, and incentive distribution. To enhance this efficiency, we have developed an AirPool mechanism that supports both EVM and Substrate natively. This solution enables project owners to lock rewards on-chain with AirPool, allowing eligible users to claim their rewards without any manual intervention by the projects. Projects benefit from a comprehensive overview of the amount claimed, remaining rewards, and the total available balance in the pool, which can be reused across multiple campaigns. Furthermore, project owners have the flexibility to withdraw any unused funds back to the source wallet as needed.
Native & EVM AirTokens
Don't have your tokens live yet or unsure of what to incentivize users with? AirLyft has the solution. We understand that offering monetary rewards may not always be ideal, as it can shape participant expectations differently. To further enhance engagement, AirLyft provides project owners with the flexibility to create Proof of Achievement (POA) tokens directly on the Polkadot Asset Hub or any available EVM network, allowing the creation of NFTs within minutes. These tokens can be used as rewards for shortlisted users through any chosen distribution method, with the option to distribute additional rewards at a later stage.
Multi Rewarding Mechanism
Projects often need to distribute multiple types of assets within a single giveaway—whether a combination of tokens and NFTs or whitelists and NFTs—requirements are inherently dynamic. To meet this demand, AirLyft now enables projects to lock multiple rewards and distribute them seamlessly to shortlisted users. Project owners can effortlessly shortlist participants for each reward pool based on the points scored, simplifying the entire reward distribution process.
Ready to Use Templates (link)
Instead of requiring project owners to create every campaign from scratch, AirLyft offers a selection of ready-to-use templates that can be easily customized and published, significantly reducing the time and effort required. These templates have been thoughtfully designed based on past campaign experiences to provide guidance on the types of tasks to include, streamlining the campaign creation process.
Quests
AirLyft provides a wide array of quest types to engage users and drive specific actions within a campaign. These quests include form quests, where users submit information or feedback; Discord quests, which involve joining or participating in Discord communities; Quiz quests challenge users’ knowledge, while referral quests encourage participants to invite others to join the campaign, amplifying reach. Social media engagement is facilitated through Twitter quests, which reward users for tweeting or following accounts. Wallet quests verify wallet actions, and token/NFT app quests focus on interacting with dApps or transacting with specific tokens or NFTs.
AirLyft’s Substrate-based quests involve interacting with Substrate pallets, completing tasks that are deeply integrated into the underlying parachain’s actions. This level of engagement allows projects within the Substrate ecosystem to foster a more connected and active community by rewarding users for directly participating in the core functionalities of their network. The variety of quests offered by AirLyft ensures that projects can effectively target and reward the specific behaviors that align with their goals, whether through on-chain activities, social engagement, or community building.
Telegram App Integration
AirLyft offers seamless integration with Telegram DApps, enabling users to participate directly in campaigns through the Telegram application. With a range of webhooks available, campaigns can be set up and displayed within minutes, providing a comprehensive onboarding solution for user login, campaign participation, leaderboard display, reward distribution, and reward claiming—all within a single, unified platform.
Virtual Shop
AirLyft excels at driving continuous engagement, and to elevate this further, we are proud to offer our partners their own virtual shop. This shop enables participants to redeem rewards using burnable fuels. By encouraging daily engagement, project owners can create seasons or continuously add tasks for users to earn Fuel points, which can later be burned to redeem rewards in the project’s shop. This flexible structure ensures ongoing interaction while providing a rewarding experience for participants.
Sybil Deterrence Measures
AirLyft makes every effort to prevent unwanted entries or bots from participating in campaigns, but as you can appreciate, ensuring complete protection is a continuous challenge, and we cannot guarantee absolute safety. To minimize these risks, we have implemented the following measures:
If approved, we plan to:
Offer 6 months of free access: Provide 15 Polkadot projects with full access to AirLyft’s platform and widget, enabling them to accelerate their community engagement and achieve growth objectives. Please find below the criteria on which the 15 projects will be selected.
Project Owners can drop a line in the proposal comment section and request for access to 6 months AirLyft Enterprise Plan, after which, projects will be chosen on FCFS basis.
Run the Polkacheiver campaign for 6 months: Host, manage and incentivize the Polkacheiver campaign with more Polkadot projects (these would include not just the 15 projects above, but others as well.)
Boost on-chain activity: Enable participating projects to increase on-chain transactions and interactions, contributing to the overall activity and vibrancy of the Polkadot ecosystem.
Foster ecosystem growth: Support the expansion and diversification of the Polkadot ecosystem by equipping emerging projects with cutting-edge tools to enhance their success and impact within the network.
