re: DOT awareness in North America

My fellow DOT acolytes:

I’m unclear if this is the appropriate forum for my thoughts. That fact not withstanding, allow me to introduce myself and my ideas. I’m a fully licensed veteran attorney, crypto advocate, and Polkadot evangelist hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada in the US. I have an ever growing stake of 304 dot at present and intend to lock more as i am able and support many fledgling sub projects. You may learn more about me if you like at ://www.darrenweiss.law I wholeheartedly believe that Polkadot is the 4k ultra high definition cryptocurrency platform of the future. I am however dismayed on a daily basis how many fellow Americans and even crypto supporters are unaware of the promise of this world changing technology. Instead they still harbor infatuation with the VHS, BETA, 8mm film and even pre modern age currencies. I hope you’ll forgive the metaphor but I think the comparison is fair and analogous. While I see Asia and Europe actively involved with growing and vibrant DOT communities, the largest world economy (for now) does not seem to me to be engaging. I believe a local educational initiative, light marketing campaign and community building infrastructure would be a benefit to all DOT holders, parachain projects, and in fact the future of all mankind. I’m not being melodramatic when I say that I believe this platform may be the catalyst to the stabilization, mass adoption and taming of a still wild and volatile cryptocurrency environment full of fraud, misrepresentation, skepticism and greed. I wonder if others in our DOT community believe as I do, that such an awareness campaign would be of tremendous value. I have over 20 years experience as a licensed attorney, am a self taught marketing expert, and business manager. I would be willing to dedicate myself to developing such an endeavor because I believe we hold the keys, not just to our own financial security but to that of all humankind. I’d humbly jump at the opportunity to be a meaningful contributor to that. I believe in the vision and values of Bitcoin but I understand that BTC is the Alpha but clearly not the Omega of cryptocurrency. I genuinely feel this platform is the most special of all blockchains in a field of thousands of good and bad ideas, currency and projects. I solicit all parties thoughts and feelings on this matter. I’d be honored if given the permission and support to act as educator and DOT ambassador to the people of North America.
