This proposal is in context with Gavin Wood [interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvbsSq1a_8g&t=5598s), where he suggested that Polkadot should invest in assets outside Polkadot ecosystem or blockchains for diversification. When this proposal passes, Polkadot will acquire the legal entity currently holding the EU-[registered](https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/018999388) trademark for the word **PARTYFY** and the domain [www.partyfy.eu](http://www.partyfy.eu) (as well as .ee, .fi, .lt, and .lv). A representative from Polkadot will delegate a person to act on their behalf—a signer who will personally appear before a notary in Estonia for the transfer of ownership. Discussion [here](2385).
