We’re happy to say we’re ready to apply to continue providing the Polkadot ecosystem the PR support it deserves :)
Our new proposal: We’re requesting 165K USDC (~150K Euro equiv. based on the Euro/USD rate of 1.00 Euro = 1.10 USD).
Deliver at least 120 unique articles (not including syndications, press release distributions, wires, etc.) over 4-5 months or less.
Deliver at least 30 different amplifications on Reddit/Quora/YouTube (or extra articles).
We’d like to highlight the work we’ve delivered since January 2024 and continue building momentum towards Polkadot 2.0 and JAM.
After passing Referendum 247 (topped up our budget once, since) we have delivered over 325 unique articles, not including syndications, to Polkadot as well as 45+ Polkadot ecosystem teams since January 2024, including but not limited to: Hydration, Bifrost, EasyA, Talisman, Tanssi, Polimec, Polytope, Subquery, Mandala, Archisinal, Unique Network, Polkadot Blockchain Academy.
There are many more, including constant PR pushes around general Polkadot narratives + JAM (see the list below).
Click here to see the coverage we’ve been able to land so far.
We’ve landed organic news coverage based on ecosystem collaboration in publications such as Forbes, Coindesk, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, Investing.com, The Street, and The Defiant and more.
We created a submission form for people to properly share details about their upcoming news so we can get in contact and help them out:
MarketAcross’s Polkadot submission form:
https://forms.gle/ndbsfq3UmQGyoTgV8
Once an ecosystem team fills out the submission form, we immediately get in contact to follow up and understand the scope of the given news story that was submitted. Please keep your Polkadot friends in mind and have them contact us if they have upcoming news we can help with in case this referendum passes.
Below, you can find the MarketAcross methodology that ensures maximized PR results:
Don’t ‘kiss & tell’ - If you have a newsworthy story, don’t write about it on your blog or tweet about it - come to us first! Journalists expect a level of exclusivity when it comes to publishing news. Once something is published on social channels, it can reduce the news value of your story for reporters. You can tweet or publish your news after a journalist publishes an article.
Fill the form correctly and thoroughly - To find the story's strong points, we need to know as much as possible about it, even if you think it’s irrelevant.
Give us enough time - it’s better to give us at least a week's notice; we need to draft an announcement, prepare a pitch, and start talking to the media - it takes time. The more time we have, the better results we’re gonna get.
We’re LIVE - Go Go Go! - now it’s time to blast your social channels, repost the stories, give shoutouts to the publications that covered you, etc.
We’ll review this with you and hold your hand through the process, but we think sharing here in the open will be helpful.
The goal remains for every Polkadot-relevant project/parachain/company to know they have access to organic media outreach for any news or announcements that are Polkadot-relevant, and we’d love the community’s help spreading the word.
About MarketAcross:
Starting in early 2020, we represented Kusama and Polkadot for almost 3 years and still run three nodes as part of the 1KV program.
We spearheaded Polkadot's PR and content marketing, working closely with Parity and the Web3 Foundation. We've also worked with significant parachains, like Astar (ongoing + last two years), Moonbeam, Acala, Centrifuge, Kilt, Manta, Parallel Finance, Polkadex, and many others.
In addition to Polkadot, we’ve worked with Binance, Crypto.com, TRON, Polygon (we worked on the Matic to Polygon rebrand), Tezos, eToro, Consensys, Bybit, Cardano, NEAR protocol, Fantom, dYdX, Stacks, TON, Pyth, Avalanche and many more.
As a success-based agency, we guarantee deliverables, allowing clients to control the volume and velocity of campaigns - we’ve been executing and over-delivering on the campaign to provide value and stick to a specific timeline - that’s why we specifically estimate proper timing for the campaign (around 4-5 months)

We hope to be a continued force behind Polkadot. Even though it’s a different playing field right now than when we started in 2020, we believe supporting ecosystem projects by giving them access to “free” Polkadot-relevant news announcements is one of the main goals in decentralizing the marketing efforts through OpenGov.
Aside from pushing Polkadot's narratives and on-going developments (Jam, decoded etc.) We believe that Polkadot could only be as big as the projects building in the ecosystem, and we’re happy to provide services to support the community and Polkadot as a whole.
We are happy to answer any questions or provide any further information, you can always reach out to us for anything and everything! @marketacrossadmin or @Marketacross on TG.
Sincerely,
Elad Mor
