Summary:
The Infrastructure Builders Program (IBP) is a collective of independent infrastructure service providers that supports the Polkadot ecosystem and its parachains with RPC and ‘IT department’ services. Established in 2022, IBP is a globally distributed and resilient ecosystem service provider, thanks to its unique design. This proposal seeks to secure continued funding for the services it provides to the ecosystem.
!Note!:
The requested amount is a top-up for the IBP bounty, which is managed by five Polkadot-native curators. The IBP bounty pays compensation for the services provided only retroactively. The amount is for the theoretical max deployment capacity. Actual annualized cost was $2,490,996 for 552 Relay and System-chain and 154 Parachain RPC nodes
RPC services are all paid retroactively for delivered services monthly by USD value.

Edit:
Various ecosystem members have provided feedback and IBP services will not be offered to ecosystem participants that have, beyond all doubt, defrauded the treasury.
The Infrastructure Builders Program (IBP) is a group of independent companies that help the Polkadot network and its parachains with important services. They were started in 2022 and are spread all over the world, making them strong and reliable. They need more money to keep helping the network.
The money they ask for is to add to the IBP bounty, which is managed by five people who work with Polkadot. The bounty pays them for their work only after they have done it. The amount they want is for the most they could possibly do, but last year they only spent $2,490,996 for 552 Relay and System-chain and 154 Parachain RPC nodes.
They get paid for the RPC services they provide every month based on how much they did. You can read the full proposal by clicking here.
Some people in the network have given feedback, and IBP services won't be given to those who have clearly cheated the treasury.
