We introduced Orbinum Network to the Polkadot community in a recent discussion post: https://polkadot.subsquare.io/posts/449
Orbinum is a privacy-focused network built on Substrate + Frontier, featuring a shielded UTXO pool architecture with full EVM compatibility. Our roadmap includes XCM integration to join the Polkadot ecosystem and deliver a native privacy layer to the broader network.
Request:
We are asking for $2,000 USD to complete a KYC verification with CertiK, establishing verified real-world identity behind the project. This is not a vanity exercise, it's a concrete step toward building the trust that independent projects need to gain traction in this ecosystem.
Our work
Our codebase is public and actively developed. You can find the node, TypeScript SDK, proof generator, circuits, and supporting infrastructure at: https://github.com/orbinum/
By end of May, we will launch a public testnet to demonstrate the network is functional end-to-end. Before mainnet, our circuits, code, and infrastructure will undergo a full audit.
Polkadot Treasury
Orbinum is a Substrate-based project with the explicit goal of connecting to Polkadot via XCM and providing a privacy layer through our shielded pool. This is not a peripheral ask, we intend to become part of the ecosystem.
A candid note
Getting support as an independent project has been genuinely difficult. Outreach has gone unanswered and community engagement has been limited. This proposal represents a last resort, not out of desperation, but because we believe the work speaks for itself and deserves a fair chance to prove it.
We appreciate any feedback, support, or guidance the community can offer.
