Description: I’m Cris Nguyen - Polkadot Ambassador, Project Leader at Polkadot Insider, and Vietnamese Business Developer at Moonbeam Network. I'm seeking for support the Chain Cohort sponsorship to get potential access to the developer community of [HUTECH - University of Technology in Vietnam](https://www.hutech.edu.vn/).

Chain Cohort is a blockchain community event hosted in Hutech - one of the biggest universities in Vietnam in terms of technology. This time, they are organizing an event with the topic “AI & Web3 in the Digital Economy”

1. Committed number of participants: 1200 students (IT, Finance, Marketing)
2. Period: Half of the day

Event Objectives:

1. Education: Educate students about the applications and impacts of AI & Web3.0 technologies.
2. Exploration: Provide a platform for career exploration.
3. Networking: Encourage networking between students and potential employers.

1. HTV Channel is Vietnam's second-largest television channel (government-backed), with diverse information and wide coverage. Over more than four decades, HTV has been a reputable and highly anticipated brand for millions of Vietnamese families.
   => Polkadot will potentially reach millions of Vietnamese people, raise an opportunity for us to collaborate closer to the Vietnam Blockchain Association, and more recognition from Vietnamese enterprises looking for digital conversion.
2. Raise awareness to a huge number of the IT student community (potential future Web 3.0 workforce) and invite these talents to join the Polkadot developer community by standing at the booth (one of the biggest booths).
3. Access to University Tech professors and industry professionals network => Focus on explaining what is Polkadot and explore the potential partnership between Polkadot and HUTECH in terms of development (also other universities by networking effects).

Expected Achievements after this event

1. Raise good awareness from this event participants, especially nurturing ideas of building Web 3.0 products with the support of Polkadot ecosystem.
2. We will create a group chat to engage with all students here (Polkadot Vietnam Dev) that is hosted by me (Cris), Polkadot Insider, and Moonbeam Network. A QR Code will be created and promoted at the booth and main stage when I’m presenting Polkadot.
3. Plan for this: In the future we will collaborate with HUTECH and students in this group chat to run small bounties and virtual classes to teach these students about Web 3.0 and Blockchain technology.
4. Engage with participants here at the booth in lengthy conversations about Polkadot, current development, ecosystem partners and ambassador program and give away some swags. Our target is to get 2-5 Polkadot Ambassador candidates.
5. Have contacts from University Tech professors and am happy to share it with all people in the Polkadot ecosystem who want to explore potential partnerships doing Hackathon in Vietnam.

Budget:

The below breakdown is extremely simple and I don’t raise fund for myself workload (it will 100% counted to Polkadot Insider contribution)

1. The Sponsorship Budget: $1,500
2. SWAGs: Caps (2.5$/piece) - 200 pieces: $500
3. Decoration materials: $500 (standee, table materials, flyers, etc..)

Conclusion

I'm strongly convinced that this opportunity is extremely affordable to engage and create a new talent community for Polkadot ecosystem in general, and organize a new developer generation for this blockchain in the future. Me and my team will closely engage and organize activities with this nurturing community after this event with countless possibility
