My name is Steve and I work as a content creator / Social Media Manager with Swissborg who are a leading exchange based in Switzerland.
I have been working with their marketing manager and lead growth hacker Alex Kalen, on this proposal for a one month awareness campaign centred around Polkadot.

Of the 30,000 DOT asked for we will be using 12,500 — 15,000 as rewards to incentivise users who buy and hold DOT on our exchange over the course of the campaign.
Example — "Purchase a minimum of $200 worth of Polkadot during the month of May and hold in app for 30 days to be elligble to win a share of our DOT proize pool". We can then draw winners at random. This is all done in app.
Our aim with this focus month is to increase our app users awareness of Polkadot and to try to bring in new users / holders in to the ecosystem. Unlike other marketing proposals we can offer real data and metrics to show if the campaign was a success by measuring DOT trading volume and of course holder numbers.
Currently of our 750k user base only 16k hold $DOT on our app totalling over 1,000,000 DOT. So we have a huge scope to increase a holder base and awareness with this campaign.
We would be targetting growing our holder base to between 3-4x the current number by the end of this campaign, with a longer term target of 15-20% of app users to hold Polkadot. Growing our app user base also means we can look to create demand for more Polkadot projects.
We have run previous campaigns like this with other projects to great effect. Our most recent similar campaign to this one being with Ternoa ($CAPS).
