Problems to solve: The blockchain industry has been growing rapidly in recent years. More and more businesses and individuals are looking to embrace technology to increase their financial independence and take control of their assets. However, the complex and constantly-evolving nature of these technologies can make it challenging for newcomers to navigate the space.
Proposed Solution: We are proposing an educational meetup focused on Polkadot and stablecoins in partnership with Pendulum and ClickPesa. The event aims to inform Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and crypto communities about the latest developments in decentralized finance.
During the meetup, attendees learned about the benefits of stablecoins, as well as a deep dive into the Polkadot ecosystem and its potential use cases for SMEs. We also showcased a new TZS stablecoin, allowing businesses and individuals to trade easily, stake, earn yield, and send cross-border payments.
Panel Topic: Navigating the World of Decentralized Finance: How SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) Can Leverage Stablecoins on Polkadot for Financial Independence.
Expected outcome: We expect this meetup to have a positive impact on the local business community and help to foster greater understanding and adoption of blockchain technology.
Conclusion: We believe this educational meetup will be a valuable and informative experience for all attendees, and we are confident that it will contribute to the growth and development of the blockchain industry. Therefore, we request funding from the treasury to cover the costs of organizing and hosting this event. Thank you for your consideration.
