Hello community, Polkadot Staking Dashboard (deployed to https://staking.polkadot.network), is a project that has been managed by Ross Bulat at Parity Technologies for the last 18 months. The success of Polkadot Staking Dashboard has come about by **listening to the community’s calls of improving Polkadot UX**, **making Polkadot more accessible for non-technical users**, and making Polkadot more intuitive and fun to use. By doing this with the attractive use case of staking (and by extension, nomination pools), Polkadot users have a reliable, 24/7 operational dApp in https://staking.polkadot.network, in which continued UX enhancements are applied on every update. Staking dashboard has received over 1.2 million page visits over the past 12 months, and users spend over 1 minute on average in the app. It is the premier staking app for Polkadot, offering a feature-rich interface covering both solo staking and nomination pools, with Polkadot, Kusama and Westend support. **Intending to supercharge Polkadot consumer apps, this proposal aims to transition the Polkadot Staking Dashboard development and surrounding efforts into a separate entity, external from Parity Technologies, and continue the maintenance and growth of the staking dashboard and surrounding UX products.**

Will the staking dashboard remain at https://staking.polkadot.network? Yes, absolutely. We are committed to maintain a productive collaboration with the W3F and continue to develop Polkadot UX that is feasible for the main polkadot.network website. Will the staking dashboard repository stay at paritytech? Yes, there are no plans to move the staking dashboard repository away from the paritytech org. It will remain at [paritytech/polkadot-staking-dashboard](https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot-staking-dashboard).
