RegionX is a great project which aligns with what I see for the future of Polkadot. In order to provide Polkadot secured blockspace to the best projects at the right price, we need an easy to use and flexible marketplace to trade and acquire Coretime. This seems like a super reasonable investment into making Polkadot more accessible to everyone.

I have worked with Sergej during the Polkadot Blockchain Academy, and I feel confident in his abilities to execute and deliver a great Coretime Marketplace for the Polkadot Ecosystem.

We're delighted the community has already recognized and highlighted this aspect. Before launching a new feature, we always ensure it's user-friendly and can be quickly adopted. It seems RegionX has expanded upon basic functionalities.
We're looking forward to your product and hope for its swift launch. Mimir is excited about the potential for collaboration with you.

Cool idea, and we've heard about Lastic before so it's good to see a different approach. But when going to the treasury, there should be some things that are outlined for a parachain that are simply not detailed in your proposal. Some things that need to be addressed:

  1. What is the governance structure of this parachain? A chain is only as good as its governance. You reference the governance as a way to upgrade or make changes to the chain, but it's unclear what this means. There are zero details about this and we already have a problem in polkadot of too many chains holding on to their sudo keys. It is our opinion that governance should not fund centralized projects. This should be added to the roadmap in more detail. Will there be a council? How long will sudo be active? Who gets to vote? If your native token is used for voting, how will that be distributed?
  2. How will you finance the maintenance of the parachain? As you should know, maintaining a parachain is a costly endeavor, requiring upkeep of collator nodes, RPC nodes, indexers, block explorers, etc. The costs of running a parachain are in the realm of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. Will the treasury be continuously burdened with more proposals for this maintenance?
  3. What is the timeline for deployment on polkadot and kusama according to your own success metrics?
  4. Does this proposal cover Kusama as well?
