This is a strong AYE from me, and it should be for the Polkadot community as well!

I highly recommend you checking out OpenGuild’s report & proposal to see the incredible work they’ve done over the past year—expanding Polkadot’s presence across SEA, onboarding new developers, and fostering connections within the ecosystem. Their efforts have been instrumental in bringing teams and builders together.

I’m excited to see OpenGuild grow even further and continue being a hub where developers gather, collaborate, and contribute to Polkadot. 🚀

I have interacted with the OpenGuild team multiple times over the past year in the APAC region and have seen them do good work to help put on events, run conferences and appeal to developers. Many events would not have happened without their participation and leadership.

They have a great range of experience and knowledge about Polkadot, having been embedded in the ecosystem for a long time, including graduating from the PBA Campus program and working for Parity.

This is quite obviously an amazing proposal wich should be wholeheartedly embraced by the community. It is also a fascinating case study of ChaosDAO who as the only DV here decided to vote NAY on it, but did not bother to provide any feedback in the comments. I can only imagine their though process: Do we know the proposers: NAY. Do we want to get to know them: NAY. Do we care about the Asia region: NAY. Hence, let's vote NAY.

I am very glad to see this proposals seems to pass despite CD's position, and that they are about to lose their DV delegation. "Why did ChaosDAO do this?" has been turned into a meme, but when they try to shoot down such clearly beneficial community initiatives in a key market without providing any feedback, I really do ask myself this question.
