We feel partial to copilot development for Ink! And Polkadot-sdk developers. It should be useful for all types of auto-complete features as well as a learning tool for newcomers.

We have shared this feedback already in private but we would like to know if dAppForge will also be available outside of AWS. Something like Hugging Face or standalone tool so that developers are not bound to AWS.

Moreover, we would like to hear from developers within the community who are interested in becoming users of the Ink! / Polkadot-sdk Copilot tool.

In the meantime we have abstained but we will consider a revote once we have gathered proactively some feedback.

Suppose there can be a tool to help devs especially new ones on how to develop with Ink, Substrate framework. In that case, I believe it better should be considered, with the devs I have met in my community find it had to learn the two on their own, so I would support this proposal if it can provide a solution.

During my PBA5 time, I basically used ChatGPT as a better Rust documentation. I would love to see a LLM implementation that can help with Substrate development. Also, I know Chris personally and believe in his commitment to the project and the community.

The AI-powered features of dAppForge are beneficial for both new and experienced developers. For newcomers, the plugin can serve as an educational tool, providing guidance and best practices. Experienced developers can benefit from the efficiency gains and advanced features, allowing them to tackle more ambitious projects.

The efficiency and productivity gains offered by dAppForge can lead to broader adoption of Polkadot as a development platform. As more developers are drawn to the ecosystem, the variety and quality of dApps are likely to increase, driving innovation and expanding the use cases for Polkadot!
