This proposal introduces a supplementary scope update to the ongoing Bounty Hub funding proposal, following suggestions made during the AAG, feedback from the Permanence DAO and building upon the funcitonality outlined in the roadmap of the proposal to:
As part of our roadmap, we had described dedicating a section of the interface to RFPs, along with templates and tools for curators to create RFPs as child bounties directly.
As the RFP launcher tool to create bounties with a template is already in development and open source, we propose to integrate the functionality directly into Bounty Manager and allow users to create RFP bounties for both Kusama and Polkadot.
Additionally, we will expand the public facing UI, with an separate section, where a user would be able to see the currently open RFPs with information on applying to implement them.
Prototype sample of RFP section in Bounty Hub.
Support for the Kusama network has always been part of our intended deliverables for this current milestone, although it was not explicitly outlined in the ongoing proposal. As this work falls within the scope of the milestone being proposed, we will include Kusama network integration as part of the core development at no additional cost.
We estimate this integration of the RFP launcher functionality and create the separate RFP section in the UI will require 80 hours of development work.
