Voted NAY.
Think its a better approach to go with events/meetups bounty. Start small, build local communities step by step. Often not much funding is needed to build up great local initiatives & communities. For larger events and funding requests which may be out of scope at Bounties, i would love to see at least some relevant collaborations with other initiatives within or around the region. :)
