Hello, Polakdot Family. You may remember us, at the beginning of the year we launched an educational proposal that received rich feedback from the entire Polakdot community in its different media.
Since then we have continued exploring the ecosystem and we have spoken with actors in the ecosystem to improve and pivot our initiative and now we have embodied it as a professional research, with an allied research center and 2 experts in technological development, and we have also added a factor that is in trend: Artificial intelligence.

The Open Web Academy organization has carried out educational activities focused on the creation of new blockchain solutions that allow the ecosystem to grow.
Throughout the life of the organization, it has been noted for carrying out offline and in-person activities to increase blockchain software developers, through workshops, courses, hackathons and educational content. Open Web Academy has managed to incorporate more than 3K participants.
Open Web Academy is characterized by being a chain-agonistic organization, which has led us to experiment with protocols such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, ICP, Optimism, Arbitrum and Vara Network, as well as NEAR Protocol where we have had our greatest impact, generating educational plans directly for the NEAR foundation and the "NEAR Dev Hub" developer circle. Some of the most relevant activities that validate our methods are:
Our team sees Polkadot as the ideal platform to develop our blockchain solutions. We are attracted by its interoperability, scalability, and the flexibility that Substrate offers to create custom blockchains tailored to our needs. We also value its inclusive approach, which makes the process easier for us thanks to pre-configured tools, accessible documentation, and an active community willing to collaborate. With the support of initiatives such as Web3 Foundation Grants and the educational resources available, we feel that Polkadot allows us to innovate and develop projects at a lower cost and with greater efficiency.
At Open Web Academy, we are proud to have Mexican Collective (https://x.com/PolkadotMexico_) , Community on Polkadot, as a key ally. Together, we work to promote blockchain education and innovation, focusing on empowering individuals and organizations to leverage the potential of Polkadot's ecosystem.

Our social networks
The growing demand for AI infrastructure requires robust, scalable, and secure systems, but many traditional solutions come with high costs, centralization risks, and vulnerabilities in data management. Blockchains offer a decentralized and transparent alternative for handling storage, processing, and data validation in AI, but not all chains are suitable for these tasks. Researching and comparing blockchains helps identify those with the best performance, interoperability, and sustainability, ensuring that AI infrastructure remains efficient, reliable, and resilient to failures or manipulation.
Research on the Efficiency of AI Models on the Polkadot Blockchain
Open Web Academy has established an agreement with the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada (CICESE), one of the leading research centers in Mexico, to collaborate on the creation of educational content related to artificial intelligence and the development of scientific research in this field. As part of this alliance, the proposal includes the creation of a scientific paper titled "Computational Efficiency of AI Models on the Polkadot Blockchain", which aims to compare the execution of artificial intelligence models on and off the blockchain, evaluating costs and processing times.
Thanks to this collaboration, we have the participation of highly qualified experts and mentors, ensuring both the quality of the course and the rigor of the study, providing a practical and innovative approach to AI and blockchain.
Participants will learn to develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on the Rootstock network, leveraging its compatibility with Ethereum and its security aligned with Bitcoin. Through a hands-on session, they will explore the protocol's tools for executing and securing smart contracts in an on-chain environment. Ideal for developers looking to specialize in building decentralized solutions on Rootstock.
The Open Web Academy team has already analyzed the educational content that Polkadot offers for AI development. Currently, our development team is testing and experimenting with its technology to explore how AI models can be integrated into Polkadot's ecosystem. We believe it is essential to align our content with existing resources to train more Spanish-speaking professionals, covering both foundational and advanced topics on AI deployment, optimization, and security within the Polkadot network.
