With the passing of referendum 1166, Marketing Bounty 2.0 https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1166, all marketing and outreach referenda must be proposed to the Marketing Bounty as approving additional marketing and outreach referenda will increase that 10% treasury income significantly.
Our recommendation is for all marketing and outreach referenda to be submitted the Marketing Bounty exclusively.

If a child bounty was not approved by the Marketing Bounty for this referendum we invite the marketing bounty to provide its rationale.

If this exceeds the maximum amount that the marketing bounty provides, our current rationale is

  1. that high price marketing and outreach referenda outside the marketing bounty funds are against our current support as the previous batch proved to be a high expense without significant impact on the price, VC inclusion, dev inclusion or adoption of the technology. To be discouraged specially under bear market conditions.
    2, Referendum 376 had initially serious issues with the delivery of the sponsorship message. Partially fault of the provided scripts to the podcast.
    3.The current price of DOT is an important factor that makes us deny these type of referenda as the stable funds within the treasury are limited and other more urgent or maintenance referenda will have priority for such funds.
    4.Faze Clan is about to create a new referendum which can potentially claim a large portion of allocated funds to marketing and outreach.
