Hi,

As the chains with most retail users are already supporting EVM wallets (Hydration, Bifrost, Moonbeam), Could you tell us what is the benefit for the ecosystem here?

I'm not sure to understand what is the added value here.
Please provide real use cases showing you're covering something new in the ecosystem.

People can already connect their EVM wallet to the chains i mentionned.

Unanimous opposition, based on the following reasons:

1. We do not believe that Avatar Accounts will effectively bring Ethereum users to Polkadot. While this is admittedly a subjective judgment, the proposal itself also lacks a clear and logical explanation to support such a conclusion.
2. The team consists of three members, yet the budget is calculated for four, and the costs appear bundled together with no detailed breakdown. Based on the information provided, it is difficult to clearly determine how this six-month budget will be allocated to specific feature development, the deliverables at each stage, and the key milestone timelines.

The Medium Spender track requires 50% quorum and simple majority of non-abstain voters according to our voting policy v0.2, and any referendum in which the majority of members vote abstain receives an abstain vote. This proposal has received one aye and three nay votes from ten available members, with three members abstaining. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

Some voters expressed skepticism about the project's feasibility and cost, suggesting that the ecosystem was not ready and that the financial ask was too high for a first-time proposer. Others showed interest in the potential benefits of the initiative but called for further validation from existing parachains and solochains before committing resources. Overall, there was a shared desire for more clarity on the project's usability and support from the community before proceeding.

Truth DAO voted NAY.

Many parachains already support EVM, and with the ongoing development of PVM, Metamask will soon be natively usable on Polkadot as well. This raises questions about the necessity of Avatar Accounts. Additionally, the proposal lacks financial transparency and presents concerns around budget justification.
