From the Kusama perspective RegionX app is critical piece of technology as it's the go to place for KSM holders to buy and manage coretime(as for DOT holders), it's marketplace being a Kusama parachain it's the cherry on top ;)

Dear Proposer,

Thank you for your proposal. Our first vote on this proposal is ABSTAIN. Below is the evaluation of our voting policy v0.3 on this referendum:

🟢 0 • 🔴 0 • ⚪️ 3
✓ ≥37.5% required participation met
▶ Majority of all votes is abstain
⚪ ABSTAIN

Below is a summary of our members' comments:

The proposal’s attempt to update necessary features and prepare for upcoming chain upgrades met with mixed feedback. Some voters noted that, despite its potential to achieve market viability within one or two years, the work appeared insufficiently refined and left room for further improvement. Others pointed out that the proposal’s features resembled those offered by competitors, particularly regarding coretime, which diminished its distinctiveness. Additional feedback highlighted uncertainties about the proposal’s market positioning and the long-term value provided by its enhancements. These concerns led all voters to express reservations and ultimately to cast abstain votes.

The full discussion can be found in our internal voting.

Le Nexus voted: AYE!

We appreciate the willingness of the Region-x team to listen to the community's feedback and the creation of an updated proposal that better reflects the current needs by removing the secondary market on Polkadot and reducing the budget from 196.24K USDT to 65.6K USDC.

Several members consider current usage of the tool to be limited to few users but believe having a user friendly UI for agile coretime is needed in anticipation of the roadmap 2025 and in the future with JAM.

Evaluation of the competitor marketplace site Lastic reveals it is no longer maintained and therefore funding via the treasury the maintenance of Region-x as the alternative to traditional polkadot.js extrinsics makes sense.

The DAO voted AYE for this price but some members still question whether this expense is aligned with fiscal responsibility given the limited current usage of the tool.

Saxemberg has voted AYE on the Polkadot referendum 1762. RegionX Hub: Retroactive + Key Features + Maintenance. Reduced features and budget for the project that has been funded by Polkadot extensively and hasn't found a market fit yet, hopefully it does soon.

RegionX is a crucial component of the infrastructure that allows coretime consumers and the general public to easily explore the current state of the market. From my understanding, there is no other viable alternative right now.

While I can’t assess whether the requested costs align with typical budgets or how they fit into past funding, we (as community) should try to reach an agreement for keeping this project around.

TruthDAO voted AYE

Overall, we hold a positive view of the team and the product they’ve built.
While some comments noted that community adoption remains low, we believe this may be due to the broader context: Coretime usage across the ecosystem is still in an early, low-frequency phase.

First, demand for Coretime itself is not yet high — though it’s likely to grow as Elastic Scaling rolls out.
Second, much of the market still perceives Polkadot through the old parachain auction narrative, which limits awareness and understanding of the new Coretime model.

Before demand surges and recognition grows, it’s essential to have this kind of marketplace ready.
The Polkadot Coretime system inherently requires such infrastructure to function efficiently once usage accelerates.

As for the funding amount, we believe the technical members is best positioned to assess whether it’s reasonable.
