OneBlock+ has cooperated with Parity Asia and has successfully organized, operated and promoted 19 Substrate development courses and 6 Polkadot hackathons since 2019. OneBlock+ proposes to continue the Polkadot developer community program from January to December 2024, which is an important part of Polkadot’s promotion and adoption plan in Aisa.
Our goal in 2024 is to provide opportunities and assistance for specific objectives in establishing the Polkadot ecosystem in Asia, with the aim of reaching over 10,000 developers. Our proposed initiatives include focused promotion of Polkadot technology, developer support and maintenance, developer education and training, as well as organizing technical events, all aimed at enhancing the region's influence, raising awareness, and fostering active participation in the Polkadot ecosystem.
What you can gain from this proposal:
- Content dissemination: We will provide weekly updates on the latest technological advancements in Polkadot to increase the interest of individual developers and Web3 enthusiasts.
- Event hosting: We will organize technical events and workshops both online and in various locations across China to attract regional-level users and developers.
- Bounty launches: We will conduct five annual bounty reward activities targeting independent hackers and students, to incentivize innovation and participation.
- Developer training camp courses: We will offer five sessions of introductory and advanced online courses, targeting Web3 and Web2 developer communities in China, as well as students in IT universities.
- Developer community engagement: We will establish a solid community consisting of engineers at various levels in the Asia region, contributing to the Polkadot ecosystem.
