Introduction: We are submitting this proposal as part of the second milestone for the Polkadot Prodigy Hackathon 2024, aiming to drive innovation and adoption within the Polkadot ecosystem, particularly in Eastern Europe. Our primary goal is to foster developer engagement, expand the Substrate developer community, and promote cross-chain collaboration among parachains.
Progress Update and Challenges: Despite initial funding from the Events Bounty system, which is currently nearing closure for our first proposal, we are encountering challenges related to delayed or incomplete payments. These issues hinder our ability to distribute rewards to participants in a timely manner. To avoid further delays and ensure a successful hackathon, we are requesting support through the Polkadot governance process.
Governance Request and Transparency: Given the challenges with the Events Bounty system and the potential for further delays, we seek funding through the Polkadot governance process to avoid delay in distributing hackathon rewards. We are committed to providing detailed reports with expense breakdowns and original invoices for transparency and accountability.
The hackathon spans over 3 weeks of coding, followed of 1 week judging, with the cluminating closing event on June 8th. Presently we are on the 1st week of coding
