https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/885 <- Not having smart contracts on system chains is likely to change.

Plaza project lead is against the ridiculous ask: https://x.com/rphmeier/status/1810022399569441072?t=cXBLRo0IQDGN_TSHZNb6xA

Ride the Plaza hype anyway, with the word "Plaza" being plastered all over the proposal for at least 40 times. And from the look of it, will successfully grift close to a million from the treasury.

Also, for what it's worth, VSCode already is a cloud IDE: https://vscode.dev/. Just develop a VSCode plugin...

If this passed against the masses wishes, then I have no faith left in Polkadot OpenGov being an effective form of governance.

I will agree with Rob and would like to paste his twitter words (that honestly should be in this referenda as a form, since his initial tweet is listed). I really disagree with the fact that only parts of conversations are pasted in order to be used as support to the referenda.

Not the highest of the priorities to build a whole IDE. Some plugins for existing (open source or not) IDEs should work as a PoC and initial work.
If need arise in the future - and most of the hard work is behind us then MAYBE an IDE will be needed.
