GenesisDAO received a $100,000 grant from the W3 Grants Program to develop a Substrate-based blockchain for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). They have completed the backend and Substrate development and are now perfecting the frontend flow. GenesisDAO is already operating on testnet, and the code is open source. They are currently working on a hook point framework to build plug-ins and extensions to customize the core functionality of a substrate-based chain. Within this treasury proposal, they are introducing the first components for this.
