This tip proposal goes out to Zoé Meckbach, Global Head Ambassador of Events for Polkadot, who recently moderated the Polkadot Foundations stage during [Consensus by Coindesk](https://www.coindesk.com/tag/consensus-2022/) conference in Austin, TX on June 11th 2022. 

Overall the Polkadot stage during Consensus was a great success for the whole Polkadot ecosystem. The room was packed with over 200 people and many attendees came up to the speakers after their presentations. It was also a great experience to have Zoé moderating the stage. As a very active member and global head ambassador of Polkadot she gave special insights of the ecosystem and introduced each speaker on a personal note. Such an environment would have not been able to be created with an outside ecosystem moderator. 

**About Foundations stage:**

Foundations is a program within Consensus designed to put the spotlight on thriving blockchain ecosystems. It’s a chance for protocols and projects to design a series of conference sessions specifically aimed at their community: which means developers and other technical contributors as well as the investors, customers and founders. 

Foundations at Consensus was distributed in 2020 with over 20 projects and ecosystems involved. 

**Programme:**

The foundation stage was a programme of 90 minutes and moderated by Zoé. It started with five ecosystem talks, 5 minutes each. A customized intro of each parachain project with ecosystem insights was moderated by Zoé. 

**Ecosystem Spotlight, 30 minutes:**

Then three longer sessions were presented with respective intros and professional moderation as well.

Anaelle has been working on [the guide to Polkadot JS](https://anaelleltd.github.io/polkadotjs-guide/) for the past year, and tips have been approved for her work in the past - aiming to educate the community on the use of this useful but complex tool.

I am submitting the tip for her to keep working on more updates and changes on the guide and maintenance from Sept to Feb 2023. This covers funding for the following tasks:

- Operational costs of the search widget.
- Reference content on social channels.
- Monitor traffic on individual pages with Google Analytics.

- **Project Name**: Polkadot Portfolio
- **Original Creator**: Kian Enigma (@kianenigma)
- **Objective**: A read-only, detailed portfolio app for the Polkadot ecosystem, using only on-chain data.
- **UI Development**: Hosein Emrani (13HCnHKxS26NreRYiH5LCeyTQzQzXDCcS9hC5G6nhnSj1KFS) was asked to create a UI for the CLI app.
- **Current Status**: An MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is available for use.
- **Future Plans**: Kian plans to support Hosein's work and will offer tips for reaching major milestones.
- **Project Nature**: Considered a Proof of Concept (PoC) and not intended for enterprise use due to its reliance on on-chain data.
- **Potential Growth**: With help from parachain teams, it could become a minimal alternative to other portfolio apps like sub.id and talisman.

I (@kianenigma) write the original `polkadot-portfolio` as a CLI app earlier this year. The objective was simple: read-only, in detail portfolio app for the entire Polkadot ecosystem, relying only on onchain data (and soon light clients). 

A few months ago, I asked an old friend/former-colleague of mine Hosein (13HCnHKxS26NreRYiH5LCeyTQzQvXDCcS9hC5G6nhnSj1KFS - https://github.com/HoseinEmrani) to write a UI for it. This is still ongoing, but we've reached a point where there is a MVP  that can be used. I am opening this tip to express my support for Hosein's work and plan to continue opening tips every now and then once we reach a major milestone.

The project as a while is more of PoC and I don't see it being used in an enterprise manner, because of its onchain-data-only nature. Nonetheless, if parachain teams help us with implementing custom logic related to their chain, it can someday become a good minimal alternative to other Portfolio apps out there (e.g. sub.id and talisman).
