On March 2nd, a proposal was made to request 1000 DOT for an event called {bash}, an ETHDenver Official Afterparty. The goal is to introduce people to the Polkadot ecosystem by having them download wallets and receive airdrops at the event. The team behind the event wants to make wallet downloads a requirement for attending and give out token drops to encourage people to use the Nova wallet. They also want to work with other Polkadot projects to get people to use their wallets after the event. The event is expected to have 4.5K-6K attendees and aims to increase Polkadot wallet downloads and engagement. An existential deposit is needed in each wallet for this purpose. We therefore propose seeding the new existential 0.1 DOT deposit for all 5k-6k attendees of this official afterparty, totaling 500-600 DOT, with some excess DOT reserved for excess wallet downloads and gas fees. 

  
The objective of this proposal is to leverage the excitement of {bash} Eth Denver's official afterparty, Bash, to drive significant Polkadot wallet downloads and subsequent engagement within the Polkadot ecosystem. Almost a year ago, I launched two YouTube channels: [Degen Radio](https://www.youtube.com/@degenradio), focusing on general crypto content including interviews with notable figures such as Blockworks researchers, prominent fintech analysts, VCs capital analysts; and a channel dedicated to content around the Astar and Polkadot ecosystem, called [Defiguy channel](https://www.youtube.com/@defiguy22) , both channels focusing mainly in Portuguese language, but also English content. Currently, I host two livestreams a week covering various themes, typically structured around:

-   **— On-chain data (TVL, DAU, smart contract deployments, staking)**
-   **— Tech updates (featuring Polkadot technologies like Async Backing, XCM, and System chains)**
-   **— Parachains fundamental analysis (focusing on value propositions and tokenomics)**

    **— Interviews with key figures on Polkadot ecosystem (started at Astar Network)**

I've achieved interesting KPIs for a new channel, averaging 40/50 concurrent live viewers with great retention, ranging around 400/500 views per live (competitive number puting aside a very niche content and bear market situation). Compared to other Polkadot channels funded by the treasury, I have above-average interactions and view counts.

We introduce a differentiation of legislative (”What should we do?”, expressed as on-chain voting) and executive (”How do we do it?”, expressed by the implementation of funded participants) and flesh out how each existing and some future components of OpenGov can be considered under this view. We show how OpenGov as practiced today works and where participants can join the process. We introduce additional mental models that help participants understand Governance.
