Notion is an excellent tool for organization, I really like it, but it really has to be done manually, etc. But the level of control in Notion is fantastic!

I was working some time ago on a airdrop type pallet to launch with the asset hub to allow evm devs to be able to get some tokens so they could deploy on the asset hub but unfortunately i hit some readblocks along the way. If thats something you think could still be usefull for the success of the hub i might dive into it again and maybe seek dome help from other devs also.

ohh ok cause i was curious about how you would actually profit from it since from what i got its a steam-like but you dont actually sell games so i was wondering where the revenue would come from.

The SDK will be designed to simplify the connection between smart contracts and dApps deployed on Phala Cloud. 
Its primary goal is to enable transactional and atomic cross-blockchain operations, ensuring seamless integration and interaction.
<h5><a name="p-28734-the-challenge-6" class="anchor" href="#p-28734-the-challenge-6"></a>The Challenge</h5>
Developing dApps that interact with blockchains can be a common but challenging task, especially when it comes to handling concurrency issues in off-chain programs. 
Without a proper synchronization mechanism, this may end up conflicting between the contracts and dApp deployed on Phala Cloud.
Consider a real-world scenario: a smart contract distributes computation tasks to workers. These workers compete with each other when claiming tasks from the blockchain. Ideally, each task should only be claimed once. However, without coordination among the workers, they might send transactions simultaneously to claim the same task, resulting in inconsistent smart contract states.
Consistent state management is crucial when developing an application that communicates with a blockchain. Developers need a reliable and transactional way to perform operations, where read and write tasks are combined into a single unit and executed atomically on the blockchain. This approach aligns with the ACID principle found in transactional database management systems.
The sdk is here to simplify development by providing a stable, ACID-compliant connection with ink! smart contracts. This eliminates concurrency issues and enables a request-response programming model for seamless interaction between the workers and on-chain smart contracts.

Ink! smart contracts, built with ink! v6, will be deployed on <code>pallet-revive</code> and an application, built on js/ts and using PAPI sdk, will be deployed on Phala Cloud.
Websocket and http requests will be used to communicate between the ink! smart contracts and the application on Phala Cloud.
Our sdk will manage the synchronization mechanism and the developers would have a reliable and transactional way to perform operations, where read and write tasks are combined into a single unit and executed atomically on the blockchain.
The SDK will be divided into two parts:

Ink!ubator 2.0 program - Bring Verifiable Offchain Computing to ink! smart contracts (RISC-V + pallet-revive)

It looks promising as a proof-of-concept, but… I’m confused
According to the project link you shared, the first milestone includes most of the core functionality. However, although you indicate that the first milestone has been completed, the current state feels more like a basic mock-up rather than a feature-complete implementation. Taking a look at the goals of the first milestone:

<li>Code Editor: Upgrade the Monaco editor with TypeScript-specific features for Polkadot API development, including autocompletion for polkadot-api functions, inline type checking, and parameter hints.</li>
</ol>
It has a few PAPI functions, but it gets completely lost on anything else. For instance, it’s not able to show parameter hints or type-checking for any interaction with the typedApi beyond “typedApi.query”.
<ol start="2">
<li>React Component Preview Panel: Implement the component rendering environment that displays real-time previews of React components as they are being edited, with proper error boundaries and state preservation.</li>
</ol>
This feature was difficult to discover, to open it is by clicking on the “Typescript” button above the code editor. But unfortunately, it doesn’t work, when activated it breaks with an error making it unusable.
Goals 3-5 is regarding state management, connection to a chain and its parachains.
The current implementation gives the impression that the code editor is still in a mocked-up state. Modifying the code and pressing run doesn’t really change anything about the result or what’s shown in the console. Or using the default example for “query account balance” on polkadot shows as if ALICE has 1223 DOT, which isn’t the actual value of ALICE.
And lastly, the UI is full of features that are half-implemented or non-functional. I would suggest focusing on completing and stabilizing individual components before moving to the next feature.
The concept is nice, but in its current state (version 1.0.0…) is not really usable as a sandbox. I’m looking forward to seeing this project come into live, but I’m worried it will get abandoned or not completed to its full potential if the current state represents “milestone 1”.

It is polkadot “a place” ? A technology, a community, a network and an economy, maybe.
In the other hand, I would suggest to avoid “subjective” marketing gimmicks like “best” - why makes it the best? The slogan needs to give me info about the technology in a nutshell - it should be definitory. Best is a categorization that doesn’t mean anything except for us, as we said “it is the best”.
Language is a precision tool.

Behind the scenes pass works similar to pure proxies, it gives you a regular keyless SS58 account and allows you to register “devices” that can dispatch calls on behalf of the SS58 address, passkeys are the first kind of devices but more forms of authentication will come like verification of ZK proofs or oauth tokens.
Then you have the nft memberships, in Kreivo it’s configured centered around DAOs, with some KSM anyone can create a DAO and buy these special nfts that come with a “gas tank” and were minted by the governance of the protocol, in our case only DAOs can use the memberships to assign them to their users in whatever way the organization sees fit, for the demo a bot acting on behalf of a test DAO will give your pass account the membership it needs to submit extrinsics without having any balance. The bot is a centralized component but totally optional, you can have a DAO that adds members in other ways in including smart contracts.

Bifrost has proposed a liquidity loan to the Polkadot treasury, requesting a loan of 1,000,000 DOT (about $4,000,000) to be repaid with 6% interest. This loan aims to increase vDOT-DOT liquidity, support vDOT growth, and expand its use in DeFi applications within the Polkadot ecosystem. Bifrost has a good track record of repaying treasury loans with interest, having brought a total income of 8,370.5523 KSM to the Kusama Treasury. The loan will be used to mint vDOT, diversifying the Polkadot treasury's DOT capital and earning staking rewards. Bifrost is a liquid staking app-chain for all blockchains, allowing users to earn staking rewards and DeFi yields across multiple chains. The loan's success will be measured by tracking vDOT minting TVL, DOT-vDOT liquidity growth, unique address growth rate, and new vDOT ecosystem integrations.

On April 16th, James Slusser and Phunky attended FBBA's "Blockchain Day" in Tallahassee to advocate for the Polkadot ecosystem. They networked with legislators, answered questions, and explained Polkadot's features and benefits. They also met with Commissioner Weigel and his staff to discuss legal language for DAOs. Polkadot was recognized in both House and Senate chambers, thanks to DOT token holders joining the FBBA. Phunky and James were not compensated for their advocacy work, and they are requesting a tip to help cover their costs.

I would like to propose a tip for James Slusser and myself for our advocacy of the Polkadot ecosystem on Wednesday, April 16th during FBBA's "Blockchain Day" in Tallahassee. We both had an incredible day networking with legislators in both the House and Senate, answering their questions and telling them about Polkadot.

In every meeting we had with legislators and their aides, James went to great lengths to explain : 1) what Polkadot is; 2) how our governance system works; 3) why our security and scalability provide enterprise grade solutions via blockchain technology; 4) that the State of Florida should provide a legal framework for DAOs.

Later in the afternoon, we had an hour long roundtable with Commissioner Weigel and his staff at the Office of Financial Regulation, during which we both encouraged them to continue their work with the Florida Bar to investigate potential avenues to craft legal language that could be used for. a future bill during the next legislative session.

Moreover, thanks to DOT token holders previous decision to join the FBBA (Florida Business Blockchain Association), President Sam Armes made sure that Polkadot was recognized in both chambers before the House and Senate began conducting their legal business for the day.

Tip for Tallahassee Advocacy 

Mythical and Xcavate are two parachains that own a lot of Coretime but missed the chance to renew it. Someone bought all the cores because they think the price is too low. Without Coretime, parachains can't make blocks. The person who bought the cores is asking for a lot of money, so they might be a scammer. To help Mythical and Xcavate, a proposal is made to give them two cores. This will add 4 new cores to the system and let them use Coretime for about 2 months. The proposal also wants to improve the Coretime system so that good projects can always get cores and avoid scammers. In the future, parachains should use the auto-renew feature to avoid this problem.

The team members have deep roots in the Polkadot ecosystem and have demonstrated excellent skills in business development and key accounting.

# Short Description

The scope of PoKe is business development that targets enterprises and governments to leverage Polkadot’s technology and to hand over projects to the Polkadot community. For that the W3F funded PoKe through the Decentralized Futures Programme for one year from May 2024 onwards. 

PoKe has achieved all its milestones to date! To ensure the maximum impact for the Polkadot ecosystem we believe that an additional six month period of key accounting and project management is necessary. As already mentioned in our [initial forum post](https://forum.polkadot.network/t/scytale-digital-s-involvement-in-the-w3f-futures-program-via-poke-the-polkadot-key-account-unit/4881) and the application to the Decentralized Futures Programme we now ask the community to fund this period.

# Achievements

Our efforts have proven highly successful, revealing significant potential for Polkadot’s adoption across enterprise and government sectors. We have secured signed agreements and built a strong project pipeline in more than 10 industry verticals, including government, healthcare, energy, and defense. Promising opportunities in various stages have emerged from these verticals. Some projects have already secured an MoU or a collaboration agreement, others will be secured within the scope of PoKe.

The following projects are the most promising ones from our point of view, and they would require additional management attention to get them to a state where the implementation project can be kicked-off. Some projects will also require management of the Polkadot ecosystem consortium and local entities during the implementation phase resulting in a hand over to the local organizations.

* **Collaboration with Chinese Technology Conglomerate**
 A MoU has been signed with a multinational technology conglomerate with a dominant presence in China and beyond. An affiliate of the conglomerate wants to move forward to integrate their solutions with Polkadot in different areas of collaboration.
* **Diaspora-financed health insurance for an African country**.
 A Signed Collaboration Agreement between a local company on the ground and Scytale for facilitating a pilot project is in place. The project is progressing smoothly, with the MOU signed by the Ministry of Innovation, a local university, a local company and the W3F. The PoKe team currently works on the LOI. This project has the potential to be rolled out throughout the African Union.
* **Mandatory travel insurance for an African country**.
 The concept was presented and discussed on site with high-ranking government representatives and insurance executives. The concept was accepted by everyone, especially the insurance companies who showed high interest in the project because it opens up another revenue stream for them.
* **German Defense Industry Project: Resilient Identification System**.
 We had two high level workshops with the company in December and March. The discussion centered around how they could leverage Polkadot and blockchain technology. Three areas of collaboration are planned, such as building a prototype in the area of maritime communication, participating in  a project funded through the EU military research fund and they are interested in participating in the PBA. The former PoKe team has established a trusted relationship with the decision makers and  we believe a lot of key accounting will be necessary to be successful.
* **Projects in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA.** PoKe is discussing three projects in different stages in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA. The first project involves establishing a decentralized energy production system managed by local communities, coupled with a decentralized blockchain-based energy exchange. The second project focuses on creating a blockchain-based land registry, while the third aims to transform the Caribbean territory into a central hub for air cargo. These projects have the potential to open the door for the Polkadot ecosystem for future and more projects within the US, which has always been a challenge in the past.
* **Central American Ministry for the Environment**
 The Ministry is positioning itself as a key driver of blockchain initiatives in the country. In collaboration with them, we have identified promising use cases, which are now being further defined and planned. While these serve as initial pilot projects, the government is also actively exploring additional blockchain solutions within the Polkadot ecosystem. The pilot projects still require management and support by PoKe to bring them to a state where they can be implemented. We believe that some key accounting will increase the probability for Polkadot to become the center of the country's blockchain strategy.
* **Blockchain Use Cases in Supply Chain and CO2 Network**
 A global service provider with a focus on digital transformation and automation is exploring the use of Polkadot nodes.They are seeking a compelling use case, potentially for one of their customers, to justify a Polkadot project. For example, they are in discussions with a leading gas monopolist developing the first CO2 network in Germany. The goal is to use blockchain technology to track and document CO2 transferred into the pipelines, as well as the consumers who store, transfer, or transport the CO2. 
* **Photovoltaic Remote Control Project for German Municipalities**
 Project for the municipalities of a major German city to remotely control photovoltaic systems for stabilizing the power grid by managing electricity oversupply from small to medium-sized PV systems. This project has the advantage that it can be used as a blueprint for further projects in the German energy market.

# &#x9;Deliverables

The initial goal of PoKe was to identify verticals, establish connections with decision-makers, identify problems, and develop solutions using Polkadot, and then move these solutions to the MoU stage. The objective now is to make these projects operational to benefit Polkadot and its ecosystem.

Due to time constraints, the remaining PoKe time is not enough and may result in missed opportunities for the Polkadot ecosystem. During the 6 months we will focus on:

* Finalizing concepts, requirements, technical approaches, and solutions.
* Developing high-level roadmaps, project plans, and timelines.
* Finding and involving Polkadot ecosystem partners to build consortia.
* Developing sustainable business and funding models for new companies and projects.
* Offering project management support for complex projects, even after handover.
* Generating follow-up projects for the Polkadot ecosystem.
* Ensuring publicity and press releases for projects with MoUs and agreements.
* Presenting successful MoU completions and key learnings at conferences.

The team has deep roots in the Polkadot ecosystem and has due to its experience a profound understanding of the requirements and workings of large organizations. Its members have been part of PoKe since the beginning (even since the ideation phase of PoKe) and they are the driving force behind the aforementioned projects. - The Polkadot Ecology Research Institute is a big research group in Asia about the Polkadot community.
- They have been working on Polkadot for more than 6 years and have helped many projects and events.
- The team has written nearly 300 pieces about Polkadot and has reached over 63 million readers.
- They support projects in the Polkadot ecosystem, even outside China, often for free.
- Their Twitter account has grown a lot, with over 4,700 followers this year.
- They recently shared a big report about Polkadot's future that got a lot of attention.
- They are asking for money to help pay for their operations and work for another year.

- The Spammening was a special event involving Amforc and Parity Technologies to test how well the Polkadot network can handle many transactions.
- This event included different phases and a big public test that showed strong performance of the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Before the main test, Amforc did other smaller tests on the Polkadot and Kusama networks.
- Amforc worked hard without getting paid during this project and is now asking for 45,000 USDT as a reward for their efforts.

<li>Grow university partnerships, integrating PBA content into curricula and securing the next generation of builders.</li>
<li>Enhance alumni engagement through ongoing participation orientated events, education, placement and mentorship opportunities.</li>
<li>Build upon the success of PBA-X to offer new content based on the needs of the ecosystem, whilst continuing to run the original PBA-X content for 5 more cohorts in 2025.</li>

Peer3 is developing an open-source Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows users to execute smart contracts directly with one another, bypassing the need to route each interaction through the blockchain. This project aims to improve the user experience of Polkadot by providing a real-time execution environment without any transaction fees. The SDK enables real-time, seamless interactions, inherits security from distributed ledgers, and eliminates unnecessary transaction fees. The has project successfully delivered all milestones for a Level 3 Grant from the Web3 Foundation.

The goal of this proposal is to seek treasury funding for a production version of the SDK. The team is asking for 350k USDT upfront and a delayed payment after 6 months for 250k USDT and 30k DOT. The funds will be used to hire more top talent to work on the SDK full time and cover operational costs. The DOT portion of the payment will be used for reserves to pay bonuses/incorporate into the compensation structure of the team and align their long-term financial interests with the Polkadot ecosystem.

The Peer3 SDK has the potential to unlock new possibilities for Web3 adoption and transform industries by providing real-time, decentralized solutions that redefine blockchain technology.

- They want to help make it easier for people to use DOT in different places.
- They noticed that not many people or money can get into Polkadot, which slows down its growth.
- Their plan is to give rewards for providing DOT liquidity in other networks like Arbitrum and Ethereum.
- The aim is to make DOT more popular and used widely in the web3 space.
- This will help developers and users join the Polkadot ecosystem better.
- The idea started as a group project but had to be split into smaller parts.

Polkadot DeFi Singularity

- A proposal for $598,100 is made to create a Talisman mobile wallet for iOS and Android to enhance user experience in web3.
- The mobile wallet will connect with Talisman’s existing desktop products for a seamless experience across devices.
- Key features will include portfolio management, wallet connect, biometric authentication, and AI-powered trading.
- The mobile wallet aims to increase accessibility and attract more users, especially since many prefer mobile apps.
- Users provided positive feedback and have expressed a need for a mobile Talisman wallet.
- The goal is to boost Polkadot's growth and allow users to efficiently manage their crypto assets anywhere.
- Talisman has over 140,000 active installs and aims to provide a user-friendly experience in managing crypto assets.

- We are excited to start the second part of our program for 2024 after successfully finishing the first part.
- In Phase 1, we had over 350 participants learn important skills through an Educational Series and the ink! Bootcamp.
- Now, we want to help these participants join the Polkadot Hackathon to use their skills on real projects.
- We are asking for $385,000 to support this next phase, which is split into three parts.
- The Hackathon will take place in Q1 of 2025, allowing developers to show their talents.
- This next phase helps graduates grow and bring new ideas to the Polkadot community.
